Great service! Mechanical problems forced a landing and the Abbots took great care of my plane with a nasty storm bearing down on the airport. Within 30 mins they had 20 aircraft that were sitting in harms way safely in the hangers. I got the loaner car and made it home 2 hours away for the night. Unfortunately, the City of Hastings has decided to make life difficult for Abbott Aviation and they are moving to Aurora, NE, KAUH in a few weeks. Use Hastings until August 1st, 2008 then all bets are off.

Stopped in for 3 days. The owners take great care in making this a pleasant place to visit. Airport did not seem busy.

Stopped for lunch and a fill 7/27/07 and had a great experience here. The courtesy car broke down at the restaurant and while the line guy was quickly on his way to trade out, one of the local residents stopped by in less then two minutes to help. He offered to call the airport for us also. Even the restaurant owner's mother offered us a ride while we were waiting after lunch. I'm kind of glad the car stalled since I never would have met such great people and the FBO was clean with great service. The mall food court is closed in reference to the other posts.

Stopped here for fuel and to check the WX. Very nice facility and the people were very friendly and professional. We were able to call FSS and be on our way in a matter of 30 minutes. Would definitely stop here again.

Great service. Everyone was very helpful. Also, although the FBO does not provide rental cars, Kerr Chevrolet does, and they, too did a good job for a fair price.

I was extremely impressed with the excellent service I received during a stop on 1/12/06. On a very windy day, two linemen assisted in securing my Tri Pacer before I was out of the aircraft. This FBO was very helpful in providing transportation and arrangements for lodging and dining during an unexpected overnight.

Super fast turn around. I called on the unicom 10 min out and the line man was sitting in the trunk waiting for us to shut down. It was cold and windy but the service was fast. Weather computer, phone and clean bathrooms. Nice people, great experience.

We fueled at HSI on our way to a family Thanksgiving gathering. The folks at Abbott got us refueled while we walked across the street to the mall for eats. Subway seemed to be the best way to go. FYI, if you need to contact someone from Abbott, they also keep a radio at the counter to reach them. Thanks Guys!

I have stopped there twice in the last 4 months. Doug is fantastic. During the last stop he did a quick oil change for me. Definitely worth stopping. If you want lunch you can walk across the street to the mall food court.

Stopped in here in June and they are a friendly and helpful bunch. It is a short walk across the road to a Mall that has a food court right on the end you enter. Recommend this as a stop.
