My Civil Air Patrol aircrew stopped here on our way back to Michigan from Iron Mountain. Shannon's was a great choice to stop for dinner. The bacon blue cheese burger was top notch. The view of the flight line was good. C-47 rides are available. Check out the Piper Cherokee with the fake tail guns on the west end of the runway by the hangar.

Stopped in for lunch during a x-country flight. Shannon's is upstairs, with plenty of windows overlooking the ramp and runway. Lunch was good, and looks like great dinners. FBO was quick with refueling. Worked out well.

This is a cozy restaurant with very good food and a nice view of the runway from their second-story location. Nice selection of brews, too -- too bad I was flying!

Based on the good review posted here, I stopped at Shannon's Landing for lunch on a trip from MSN to OSU. Based on that lunch, I stopped in again on my way back. Very good sandwiches and burgers, and a great view of the ramp and runway 9-27. Good food, and a nice chat with some other pilots finishing their lunch... I'll be back when flying in the area.
