I had good service at IGX. I bought 20+ gallons of fuel and did have to pay for two nights tie down (2x$10). Convenient to Chapel Hill and surrounding towns.

Flew in for the weekend. Gas was reasonable and they did not charge me a tie down fee although it was advertised as $10. Friendly FBO. This is the third time I've visited and each time has been a pleasant experience.

If you remember this is a small field with limited facilities, you will be pleased with KIGX. Wish there were more like it.

I just wanted to say kudos to Matt, an employee at the airport. He really went out of his way for us today to help get our plane ready. He even lent me his vehicle so I could get supplies in town (no crew car available). This is a great little airport in a great town. Too bad the university does not see its value as an airport and wants to raze it and build dorms. It will be such a loss to the community and those who use it.
