I have been flying out of ISP for some twenty years and seen lots of changes. I used to live in the area. There has not been a great FBO here for years, until now ExcelAire understand the meaning of great customer service. EVERYONE is friendly and will do what ever it takes to assist you and your passengers they are setting the standard. THANK YOU

Stopped here for the afternoon. Was not charged a ramp fee though we took only a small amount of 100LL for an SR20. They invited us to take a couple of cold bottles of water with us. Very friendly and helpful with beautiful facilities.

That party is over. I was planning for a trip this afternoon and researching fuel prices and ramp charges for FRG and ISP. ExcelAire still has a great fuel price (was quoted $4.08) but was also quoted a $70/day ramp/parking charge, waived with 50 gallons of fuel purchased. I wouldn't mind topping off, but I can only hold 53 usable, and will not be arriving with only 3 gallons in the tank. And there are a lot of singles that hold less. Excelaire, if you are trying to attract piston singles, I would consider lowering your minimums (or prorating your ramp charge), but if you are if you are trying to repel them, this policy will work.

Excellent FBO. NO RAMP OR PARKING FEES! Enjoy it while it lasts. I was in a light twin and I got G5 service. Drop-off and pick-up to the LIRR. Got food delivered to us on departure. Always friendly. Very nice FBO for a Manhattan trip. 1-hour trip into city on train and FBO is 5 minutes from the station.

All I can say is good things about this FBO. Flew in on a sunny Thursday afternoon and greeting at the plane. Go inside to meet my girlfriend for a quick lunch and ask for a top off and if it waived the Parking Fee. Hold on, THERE ISN'T ONE! Come to find out, you can actually park over night at no charge either (But no Tie-downs, but there is a Hanger fee if its needed). Not only that, I forgot my Fuel slip to get compensation for my club, and after calling, they insisted on mailing it out to me right away! Way to go ExcelAire

We came into Islip on Nov 5, 08 and we had a problem with our aircraft that required maintenance. Bob and his staff, Joe, Maurice, Bob, Steve, and countless others it seems worked on it until it was fixed. Just to make sure ran additional tests. These guys did a super job, kept myself and the company informed every step of the way. I really can't say enough. Their customer service and FBO facilities are the best at ISP. Gina went way above what most CSR reps do in this business. Friendliest people I've ever met in the New York area. The best FBO on Long Island. Great fuel prices too.. Capt.RJ Williams.. Fantastic FBO! Greeted with smiles on a dark and stormy night after hours and were pulled into the hangar immediately. Line manager Rob helped with everything, even putting the engine covers on and also managed to continue smiling while doing a lav service (rare). Couldn't have had better service. Following day on departure everything was perfect, plane was in dry hangar to preflight, tug was already hooked up to pull out asap, fuel truck and GPU were ready, coffee hot and ice in bags. Got a good fuel price, hangar discount and a couple of ExcelAire mugs for the pilots thanks to Rob. Passengers loved the FBO, new construction and very tastefully done. Hope to get back soon; this is the FBO experience you want as a Charter operation! Great job Rob and ExcelAire. ATP LJ-60.

I highly recommend Gene and the other fine folks at ExcelAire. They hangared of our aircraft for a week and exceeded our expectations on arrival and departure. We will use ExcelAire on future trips to the Metro Area.

Our company recently had the opportunity to try ExcelAire -KISP as an alternative for our International arrival into the New York area. We found ExcelAire a very suitable International gateway with on-site Customs and situated in a very low traffic environment. ExcelAire's brand new facility has plenty of ramp and hangarage available and the personnel were extremely conscious to our needs. A helicopter service to the New York area can also be arranged if required. In summary, ExcelAire has established a new front-line all encompassing FBO service in the New York area with the only drawback being the lengthy drive into NY city at certain times of the day but this should be balanced against the congestion both in the air and on the ramp at other closer in destinations in the NY area. One of the nicest facilities I've seen & the staff could not be friendlier. It makes no difference how many or what type of engines you have on your flying machine, they provide the same top-notch service with a big smile. All FBO's should be this welcoming.

We arrived on July 4th and were met on the ramp by the lineman and also the FBO manager Eugene, who gave me his cell phone number in case we needed anything. While I took care of our aircraft (King Air N30KC) my family was being spoiled by Jennifer in the attractive lounge. I had to pry them away from their drinks; snacks and TV get them to the rental car, in which the lineman had already placed our luggage. I only later learned that the staff had all come in special for our holiday arrival. On departure, fuel, pilot briefing facilities, beverages, newspapers, and a quick vacuum of the aircraft were all cheerfully provided. No ramp/parking fee. Knowing that they have a full maintenance facility is good for a contingency. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

Flew into Islip last week and used ExcelAire. The service was top notch from the line guys down to the service behind the counter. Fuel truck was standing by within a matter of minutes. Great service!!! Inside the FBO is a fireplace and a stocked bar for the passengers, just incase you encounter any delays. The FBO is less than a year old and is one of the nicest I have seen in a very long time. WE will continue to use ExcelAire and there wonderful service. Give ExcelAire a shot you will be very happy!!!

Eugene and staff were awesome. Gorgeous facility, great addition to ISP. I've been to the others, and will definitely have to say that ExcelAire is the BEST!!! Great fuel prices too. Our pax were impressed. Will be using these guys from now on.
