My aircraft got damaged at Sheltair and they denied it was their fault. I would recommend that you do not allow them to move your aircraft at all.
Response from Joe Ribaudo, Sheltair Aviation Services Islip Dear Mr. Haenlien, I have spoken with our ISP General Manager, Leonel Rivera, and our Regional Vice President, John Parrino regarding this matter. Please be assured that we have pulled all the security tapes that show your aircraft and we will be carefully looking at them to determine when and how this incident has occurred. It is SheltAir's policy to take responsibility for any incident that we may have caused; I believe that Leonel and John have been in contact with you regarding this claim. If you should have any additional questions, please feel free to contact myself personally (954.359.3229). Sincerely, Ed Zwirn, Chief Operating Officer- SheltAir Aviation Services

Sheltair took the time and effort to drive the fuel truck over to the taxiway H area for our formation of 4 Cessna 150's on Sat, 17 Nov. Otherwise, we would have all probably burned a half hour taxiing over to the FBO after getting clearance to cross the airport. Thanks for the service and going the extra mile, Sheltair.
Response from Leonel Rivera, General Manager Sheltair Aviation Services Islip Mr. Mike Marra I am glad to hear that the staff at Sheltair Aviation was able to help you and your group on 11/17/07. I will pass the comment along to the staff. We hope to see you on your next visit to ISP. We would also love to have your vote and support on the upcoming AIN and Propilot survey.

Our 172 is ISP based. Had a fuel account with Sheltair's predecessor, but Sheltair refuses to bill the club for fuel purchases now, only individual pilots. When I've asked the lineman the fuel cost the last two fuelings, his response has been "I don't know. It changes daily. Call the desk"! Today, I asked him for a receipt. "Sure". Then he drove off without another word while I spoke with another pilot! I'll make the trip across the field to Mid Island/NY Jet from now on. Much friendlier and cheaper too!

Came in on a Lear 35 one day and then a few days later with our company Citation Bravo. Both times great service, fuel as expected was a bit steep but all and all I will be back with any airplane in our company fleet.
