On my return trip from Jekyll Island back to Atlanta, we stopped at Jesup for fuel. FBO building was very large and modern. While the FBO was closed on Sunday, they have a combination touch-key lock (Unicom freq number) so that you can enter the building and get a soda, restrooms.... They even have two crew sleeping rooms, if you arrive at night and want to sleep over! Fuel is self-service. I highly recommend this airport - great facilities, long runway and 24/7 fuel!!

Perfect small airport fuel stop. Nice clean facility! THANK YOU AirNavers for the recommendation.

This airport is an undiscovered gem. The self serve 100LL pump is backed by a 10, 000 gallon tank. According to a local, the fuel price stays at $3.60 until the tank has to be refilled. Nice new modern terminal building.

Stopped into Jesup on the way to Miami. Great stop, friendly people, good service. Just note that the FBO is closed on the weekends, self-service fuel is open though! I would use Jesup all the time but many of my travels are done Saturday and Sunday.

Highly recommended: Long, wide runway; self-serve pump with the cheapest gas in the southeast; clean, air-conditioned terminal. This place just became my primary fuel stop from SGH-F45.

Great fuel stop. Had the cheapest fuel I experienced on a MD to FL trip. Excellent runway, ramp and terminal facilities as well as friendly folks.

Great Self-Service fuel stop: Came in Christmas day for fuel and I was the only one on the airport. I had called the day before and was briefed on where to find the coffee & pot in case I wanted to make some during my stop. Great facility, phone Internet etc.

This was my fuel stop heading north from West Palm Beach to DC on Christmas. With approaches to both ends of the runway this airport has everything you need: very reasonably priced 24/7 credit card fuel, internet access, vending machines. There is a combo lock that gets you in after hours. Highly recommend.

WOW! What a stop! Mr. Leon Manley walked out to help dispense fuel ($3.60/gal) and talked with my wife and I a bit. What a great stop, complete with pilot lounge, and bedrooms for overnight stays. We will definitely stop by here again when traveling up north. Thank you Mr. Manley and have a Merry Christmas!! Chris-FL59-Buckingham Army Airfield.

Wonderful and modern facilities with great briefing room, overnite bedroom and washer-dryer for crew. Also great fuel prices to top it all off. This is a hot stop!

Stopped at JES on 8/18/2007 & again on 8/23/2007 for fuel. JES is a great place to stop, fuel up, and eat lunch. Very good facilities and friendly staff.

Stopped on way back to CLT from Sun N Fun. For a while, I was only one there. Then the manager showed up and we had a nice chat. Real friendly place, wide-open and good fuel price. Will go back!

A great experience. Upon landing we asked about hotels and were given directions and the keys to the courtesy van. The immaculate and modern FBO was closed on Saturday but the "pilot's door" had the instructions on how to get in (simple) and the facility was deserted but fully available to us when we returned the van Saturday morning. Looking around we saw that there are two small rooms with single beds that are apparently available for free (a local pilot told us) for overnight pilots. Inexpensive fuel and no tie-down charge were icing on this cake.

Runway heading has been changed. Runway is now 11 and 29.

Clean facility, friendly staff. Large TV, and a good pilot briefing room. Very good experience overall. The runway has been widened, from what I recently heard, but it was already 5000 feet long in August when I was there last. Competitive Avgas prices, and self-serve. Smallish tie-down area, right now. Hopefully with plans to increase that for transients. Strongly recommend for a comfortable stopover. I did not ask about a courtesy car, and therefore no information for that. Nice town too.

Airport now re-opened after having 5500ft runway resurfaced and widened to 100ft. Looks great!
