Good morning everyone! I wanted to send a message to say Thank You for all your hard work and making me feel welcome. It was nice meeting Kristian (thanks for the taxi service and tutorial) and Nicole (thanks for updating my manuals and watching me stroke a check yesterday!). The plane flew flawlessly and I made it back to Concord with about 15 minutes to spare before my BFR. I was able to fly nearly 4 hours and shot 4 approaches (GPS and ILS) and get a hold in. It worked perfectly! I’m excited to keep flying and master the operations of the new AP. I also really like the yoke mount control head; my DPE loved it also.

Greetings, This is to let you know that your installation, and the GFC 500 system, really ROCKS!! My first real trip with this system was a 650 NM trip to and from the Florida Keys in and out of IFR both ways. The Garmin equipment makes flying IFR almost enjoyable and greatly simplifies approaches. I am pleased with your installation and most appreciative of Mark’s orientation flight to familiarize me with the system. If I had this investment to do over again, I would not change a thing. Thank you for your guidance and great work

WHATS NEW IN AVIONICS

Don’t Ignore Your Vacuum Pump

Vacuum pumps provide the energy needed to power in-flight instruments. They have been a part of aviation for many years and are still installed in a majority of piston-powered aircraft to this day. The vacuum pump is bolted to the back of your engine, which turns the pump when the engine turns.
