I have flown into JST several times and must say that they have the friendliest air traffic controllers I have ever dealt with. They are extremely helpful and professional. Between the excellent FBO and the controllers in the tower, it is a pleasure to fly into Johnstown.

Rick you Rock! I am a frequent flyer to JST. Every time I go to this field, I get the red carpet treatment! Rick and his team do all my maintenance. Very punctual and reasonable. I travel 420 NM round trip every time I need service done to my Baron because of the relationship I have developed with MTT and Rick! I put my family in the 1966' Baron after Rick's work! I won't trust any other mechanic the same way. I am based in CDW (New Jersey) and service is 2.5 X more expensive, then at MTT. I highly recommend any person who flies in the area or out to stop in and see for yourself. Just a warning check the weather because this field is located in the "Johnstown triangle" (weather around could be good VFR, but JST can be below minimums on a regular bases)!

Wow, first class operation. I had to divert on Sunday with engine trouble. Line svc was unbelievably helpful. Unfortunately, had to wait till Monday morning to get maintenance Vince and Rick were great, had me on my way ASAP. Service like you used to get everywhere, but now is all too rare. Plus, $4.00 100LL and $5.25 for a quart of Aeroshell 15W50 -- sad to say, but WHAT a bargain! Stop here, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

MTT is a breath of fresh air to Johnstown Airport. FBO services are first rate. They often greet you by being at parking before you can taxi there. Great service oriented guys like Mike (the Mike with the full beard) has ropes; help get you to the building and on your way. Gas prices are very competitive, and full service. I've even called ahead and Mike and his colleagues will fill up the tanks. Just pay and go. Thank you for such friendly, professional service. I stop at KJST if I'm anywhere nearby. And they have free wifi in the terminal. Superb!

Very friendly staff just stopped in for 10 minutes on my solo X-C and he gave me a ride to and from my airplane and a phone to close my flight plan.

Flew into JST and used MTT two days in a row to transport a medical airlift for LifeLine Pilots. I found the staff at MTT to be extremely helpful and nice. I was also provided a fuel discount for the volunteer flight. Nice job!

Flew in on a beautiful Saturday evening and had dinner. When we were done eating at Sassy's NEEDED to get fuel but was not able to find anyone to pump fuel. Ended up stopping at another local airport for fuel.

Stopped in for a quick turn at MTT yesterday with a student and was very pleased with the service. The fuel prices were an added bonus as well! I will definitely be bringing more students to Johnstown on long cross-countries.

Having read the positive comments I decided to do a scheduled stop at Johnstown on my way from Boston to Atlanta. I am delighted I did. There was bad weather in the area so I shot the ILS to RW 33. It's a huge 7000-foot runway. It turns out I needed the length because my right brake was not working well. I can't say enough good things about the service at MTT. I landed at 7PM the line guys loaded our bags for us. Next morning Richard, the Chief of Maintenance who has 20 plus years of experience fixed the brake for me and had us on our way to Atlanta. His rates were honest, just like the fuel rates. I am seriously contemplating flying the plane back to have some mods done! This place is a service jewel and I highly recommend it

With family in the area, I'm a semi "regular" at JST. I can tell you MTT Aviation Services is a huge improvement over their predecessors (Air East). Though they've only been up and running for a relatively short time, they're really making a name for themselves with their obvious commitment to customer service. The guys on the line are some of the best you will find anywhere... professional, efficient and very friendly. Unlike some other FBO's, my little Cherokee and I are treated with the same service and respect they give the 'big guys'. The upgraded facilities, including a comfortable lounge and WX/planning area is terrific. The restaurant, which is very good, is just steps away. Lastly, MTT has consistently had the lowest fuel prices in the area. From my personal experience, I highly recommend MTT at JST as a great fuel, food or service stop.

Stopped in today at KJST and the crew at MTT (Willie and Chuck) were great. They provided great service, fueling and friendly to chat with. The restaurant was very nice also. If you’re passing through Johnstown, PA, it's worth the stop.

Within moments of landing the fuel truck was at the plane. They were more than helpful unloading the plane and fueling up. As I was finishing my post-landing checklist a representative from Clean Wings came up and offered to detail my plane. I've been flying from the West Coast so thought it was not necessary. This gentleman convinced me to give it a try. One of the benefits was later while they were working on the waxing a thunderstorm blew through. On their own they kept the plane inside out of the deluge. I can highly recommend MTT at JST. The pilot lounge was well equipped, even with a wireless Internet connection, fuel was reasonable and they kept my plane out of the thunderstorms.

Wow! I think MTT was the best thing that ever happened to Johnstown Airport! I am a student pilot with Frank Strittmatter and use MTT's services frequently. Their fuel prices have always been affordable and their staff is great! Not one time have I past one of their employees without receiving a "hello" or "how are you doing"! Little things like these are what make you guys the best around! Keep up the good work! If there are ever any job openings for doing things around the hangar don't hesitate to let me know.

My recent experience at MTT Aviation Services was a very good one. The lineman parked me at the front door and laid out a red carpet for my deplaning passengers, a courtesy that is not often afforded to a lowly transient Baron. The fuel price was among the lowest that I've encountered lately. MTT's facilities are clean, convenient and entirely sufficient. The restaurant in the adjacent terminal building served a great lunch, and everyone that I spoke with was courteous and helpful. No complaints.

Good fuel prices but, boy are they clueless about aviation. They didn't even know if they had a tow bar for my Cessna.

We are sorry Mr. Lombardo had a negative experience at MTT Aviation Services. His visit was during our first week in operation as the FBO at JST and some of our line service personnel were new and in training. In addition not all of our equipment had arrived.
