Was the FBO of choice for the ABS convention. Words cannot express the great service received. This FBO is second to none. The line service and front office staff is the best I've encountered. The building itself is plush and comfortable, a perfect environment to plan a flight or just take a break. Stop in, you won't be sorry!

Stopped in today in our 172 for a quick turn around. We were treated like royalty! This is a new state of the art facility. They will spoil you here whatever you fly.

Today I visited the best FBO that I have ever been to. The facility was exquisite and the staff was amazing. The good folks at Air 51 supplied us with a multitude of snacks and drinks as soon as we walked in the door. The manager gave us a personalized tour of the building (which included several plush leather chairs in the pilots lounge and a private room with bed to catch some ZZZZZ's if necessary. I will certainly be heading back to Air 51 soon. Thanks again!

Flew in for a night XC flight, what a great experience... The little details like the restroom TV, sofas and beverage machine are over shadowed by the great service and efficiency of this FBO. Make it your stop at Kentucky.

Stopped in twice in our A36 during the past two weeks and received top-notch service both times. One of the best FBO's we have experienced. It is well worth the slightly longer taxi to their ramp.

Great line and counter staff! Not a bad deal, it was only $.14/gal more than Air 51. For my short flight from St. Louis, that's only $6.16. Also, it was shorter taxi. Facilities are outstanding. They treated my 182 very well. I'll stop in again.

Visited on the way to KOSH and was just blown away with the service. Only problem was figuring which Line-Guy to follow. Service was fast and over the top. From the snacks to the Tootsie Pops to the layout of the FBO...Pure class even for a little ol Mooney full of Camp Gear. Stopped again on the way back Home.

This is the Ritz Carlton of FBO's. It is owned and run by pilots for pilots. Nothing is overlooked, service is great, the building is new, the staff is friendly, the prices are right and best of all the loanded me a Porsche Boxster (Really!!) to go get something to eat. I hope they open more sites.

This FBO can be described in one word...Fantastic..No Fabulous...No wait..Phenomenal. In 34 years of flying I've never visited a more accommodating, helpful, service oriented FBO. Great facility, snacks, refreshments, AOPA fuel discount. I'll be back

Went to Air 51 today in Citation 501 to drop 2 pax. NO RAMP FEE and outstanding service and facility. I bought some courtesy fuel just to support the "NO FEE" concept. TAC Air was going to charge me $175 just to drop pox & go. They have our business forever. Wish they would go where Signature and Million Air are located. Fly safe.

I was overwhelmed by the high level of service we received on our recent visit to Lexington. As we taxied in, three linemen were standing by to help and our rental car was waiting. The front desk staff was not only extremely helpful but also very warm and friendly. BEST FBO I'VE VISITED. We will try to go to Lexington again to experience that level of service.

After visiting Air 51 today, I must say that the comments here are accurate. The service and the facilities really are that good! If I owned an FBO, I'd come to Air 51 to see how it should be done.

I agree this is one of the best FBOs I have visited. All of the folks were unbelievably friendly and could not do enough for us. This new FBO offers anything a pilot could wish for, great facilities, showers, lounge, planning area, even soft drinks and popcorn. Did I mention their courtesy car - a beautiful blue convertible Porsche! While you're there, be sure to check out the Kentucky Aviation Museum. If you're plan a visit or stop in Lexington, this is definitely the place to be.

I couldn't agree more with the previous comments. This must be THE best FBO in the US. There are not enough superlatives to describe the great service and hospitality of the folks at Air51. My only regret is that I can't go back more often.

Just had the pleasure of using Air 51. Top-notch service and beautiful facility. Even had some extra time and Dave and Dr. Joe showed us around with a stop to see their shop were they restore WWII aircraft. The P-51 is even more impressive close up. I would say THE BEST FBO in the US. We will be back many more times. Thanks again Air 51 you're what aviation is all about.

I had the occasion to visit Air 51 last week, and I was simply amazed. I've been anticipating the opening of a second FBO at LEX for quite some time, and Air 51 exceeded all my expectations. The staff is top-notch, the service is great, the amenities are amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. It is obvious that pilots, even us little piston drivers, are the focus of Air 51. Now I will be looking for excuses to fly to Lexington just to visit this FBO!

Just left from my second visit this month and each time I passed the P-51 taxing to the runway. To me that is atmosphere. Especially the run up on the Mustang. Inside Air 51 really started out on the right foot and knows how to please pilots. My passengers thought it was great too. These people want to serve you and have the tools and know how to do it. Rental car on the ramp AC on. Free food and drinks, great crew cars, great staff, top-notch facilities, cheap fuel, quick turnaround and warbirds on the ramp. What more could a pilot ask for???

All FBOs should be modeled after Air 51. Finally, an FBO that caters to pilots, not just pax. Don't expect to find any vending machines... Everything is free. Free soda fountain, popcorn, pastries, coffee, chips, cookies, you name it! They've got private pilots' quarters upstairs for the time when you can't find a hotel room. Pilot lounge with a 42" flat screen. The line staff was very professional; tracked my plane en route from MSP, and were very quick with the fuel truck. Hangared my plane for the night, and it was waiting for my on the ramp for my 8:30am departure the next morning. I can't say enough. One of the gentlemen at the desk even gave me a spare bagel he had picked up from Panera Bread. Gulfstream-style service even for a little ol' 172. They told me "The owner wanted to cater to pilots specifically, and give them exactly what they want... Regardless of cost to us." I would make the trip to LEX again just to visit this FBO. 10/10.

A GREAT FBO!! Our first experience with Air 51 and it was great. A first-rate facility, friendly helpful staff with great fuel pricing. How can you go wrong! Stiff competition from TAC air makes these guys try harder!! They are the "new guy" but soon will easily surpass the competition. Pass on the better-known TAC air and you will be pleasantly surprised. If there were a downside it would be that they are a little harder to find. Ground does a good job with a progressive and their big red façade helps. Gets a 10 in my book.

Thanks for the superior service. Very few FBO's can match your efforts. My aircraft was up front and fueled when I arrived and the fuel bill was much easier on my wallet. Thanks.

These folks are amazing. They were all over us, helpful at every turn. They drove us to our hotel when all we requested was a taxi. When we returned to the airport, the plane was pulled up out front and fueled. I don't think I've ever seen a staff as determined to exceed all expectations.

This brand new facility is over and above any FBO you will ever visit. Exceptional service, friendly professional staff. My rental car was waiting upon arrival; aircraft was being refueled before I got in the car to leave. This is a must stop if are in the Bluegrass area.
