Stopped overnight at KLNK. They were changing shifts when I arrived and an employee took me to the hotel in his own vehicle. I was awakened in the night by major thunderstorms and obviously worried about the Mooney. When I got there the next day, they had moved the plane into the hangar during the night. I was able to load the plane in the hangar, and then they fueled and de-bugged the plane. Great folks. Great FBO.

This is a nice place to stop--especially if you have a lot of bugs on your plane. This is the only place in 48 states that offers to clean your leading edges! The other services provided were very good as well.

Stopped because of weather. They put my plane in a hangar, got me a car so I could finish my trip. This is the third time this has occurred and they have always been very helpful. Will stop next week on a trip to WI.

Recently tried Silverhawk after noticing their fuel price for 100LL is much lower than even the discounted rate that I had negotiated with the competition on the field. I'm glad I did! Not only is the fuel cheaper, but also the customer service is wonderful. They routinely clean bugs off the leading edges of the airframe, and are happy to clean windshields on request. Service is 24/7, and they allow their line folks to refill O2 bottles, which can't be done except during weekday business hours almost everywhere else. I'll be using Silverhawk routinely from now on!

I parked here for two nights. Fantastic facility. Internet terminal in the lobby, great hotel recommendation (with a discount to boot). There were no ramp or tiedown fees, and they even cleaned my windows for free. Fuel price was very reasonable.

Parked over night in our 182. Everyone was great. They hangared the plane and cleaned all the leading edges. Took us to our hotel and picked us up.

Parked here over the fourth. With the fuel, there wasn't any tie down. When I got there Saturday in the rain, found out the airplane had been hangared since the first storm. It was dry and ready.

We refueled our Hawker at SilverHawk and as with any mid continent FBO, expected a quick and efficient turnaround. We got that and also friendly quick and competent linemen. Ashley at the front desk was great. The lobby is new and clean. They even ran out to McDonald's for us and had the food ready when we arrived! Great job! And by the way, we saved 50 cents per gallon on 700 gallons. You do the math.

Update on parking my dinky taildragger away from jets: Yesterday Silverhawk's available tail tiedowns were blocked (note to tri-gear pilots: the tail must always be tied down, no ifs, ands, or buts... Yes, it is a big deal). So... They immediately decided to put me in their hangar overnight at no charge. Now that's a creative solution! There was a monster t-storm way off to the west that night (tops at FL450, first hand reports of 60 mph+ winds, hail), so this was a very real and much-appreciated precaution. So... Extremely helpful people at Silverhawk.

From Andy Van Tol on 14-Jun-2007
Friendly people. I always have a hard time figuring out where to park, it's somewhat crowded on the ramp, lots of jets around. I try to stay away from any possibility of jet blast (they say "never a problem", but nobody cares about your plane like you do!). They don't let you park too far north of their area. Don't make the same mistake I did, you'll have to untie and move... Closer to the jets.

From Andrew Yaggie on 13-May-2007
Silverhawk Aviation is definitely the place to go for quick and friendly service in Lincoln. Though they handle a good amount of jet and larger turbo props, they were equally as friendly and helpful to the little guy as well.
