Personnel are always friendly and helpful. Very clean FBO and adequate space for filing flight plans. Mechanical and avonics staff are courteous and willing to assist.

We've always used Virginia Aviation. Great looking FBO, people are super friendly, fuel prices are decent, and they've got a good selection of charts and supplies on hand.

Good services from the FBO, friendly, cooperative and responsive. I rented from Enterprise, they did deliver the car to the FBO, but it was filthy and had cigarette butts in the ashtray. Now on day 3 of trying to get someone to return my calls from Enterprise, with no luck. Talked with Jim at Virginia Aviation and they will no longer be using Enterprise, which is a good thing. Whatever you do, don't use Enterprise, and after this experience, I will not use them at any of the airports I fly to.

Very nice facilities. Had a vacuum pump changed and it was timely and reasonable. The front desk while very friendly, were not very efficient. Called one hour ahead to get the plane pulled up from the back forty but they never did. Had to ask three times for her to get my bill together. The tower folks were very helpful and friendly.

Visited LYH on 8/19/2007 thru 8/21/2007 and everything was just great! Gale who works for VA Aviation was outstanding in coordinating my trip, car rental, and hotel. She is great! Plane was fueled as expected and VA Aviation in general did a good job. Tower Operators were helpful.

I was on an Angel Flight with a stretcher patient flying from Baltimore to Knoxville when near Lynchburg, VA my airspeed dropped 10 knots and the CHT increased about 10. We landed in LYH but being Saturday, no mechanics were on duty. The symptoms pointed to a simple fouled plug. Sean, a lineman let me use his tools to remove and clean my spark plugs. Virginia Aviation comforted my stretcher patient while Sean made the repair possible. I have since flown to DC, Atlanta, Richmond and Chattanooga. The plane runs like a top. Sean's help on a weekend allowed my passengers and I to continue our trip. I was concerned that they would be worried, but instead they slept for the remainder of the Angel Flight to Knoxville. Thank you Sean and Virginia Aviation at Lynchburg.

My family and I made an unscheduled overnight stop due to inclement weather, and were very impressed with the service provided to us by the FBO staff. The lady behind the counter made reservations for us at the local Day's Inn, arranged pick-up, and when it didn't arrive in a timely manner, let us use the courtesy car to get around. Each person we dealt with was very helpful, and seemed to have a service-oriented attitude. Although gas prices were quite high, the experience was a very positive one.

I am home based at KROA where I used to get my maintenance done (and was pleased with the service, thought the price was high). Now I have a Cirrus SR20 and Virginia Aviation is an authorized service center. I have been very pleased with the service. There have been a number of times I have just dropped in for service, or on very short notice, and they have accommodated me. Once, the plane needed to be kept over night and they loaned me the crew car over night. This FBO is service oriented and it shows.

A little slow on my posting but I stopped here in late August during my VA Passport quest. Very friendly group. Borrowed the courtesy car for a quick snack. Tower folks couldn't be nicer.
