Department Description:
The Lampasas Municipal Airport is a general aviation airport consisting of a 4,200 foot runway (extendable to 5,000 fee) with an Instrumental Flight Rules approach, a small terminal/lounge building, tee hangars, nine aircraft tie-down spaces, and Automated Weather Observation System that is accessible by telephone or aircraft radio, a cement pad for use by emergency evacuation helicopters and a 24-hour self service fuel dispensing facility.
