"High Flight" by John Gillespie Magee, Jr are the closest and most accurate descriptions of my experiences flying with Jim! Not only am I able to carry my experiences flying with Jim into my profession, the necessary tools and skills I learned are applicable to everyday life. I can honestly say I've never had so much fun at "work" and Jim is there every step of the way to make sure I was the best pilot possible. Jim took me, an average 22 year old without any flying experience at all and molded me into a young pilot who went onto pilot training to fly for the United States Air Force. I can confidently say there is not a more caring and genuine instructor anywhere! I would not only recommend flying with Jim to anyone with the possibility, I would say it is an honor. Thank you Jim for all that you have taught me, I will NEVER forget you or the hours spent slipping the surly bonds of Earth.

My training with Jim was great. I had a unique training experience b/c I was working on my Private but I was also preparing for future military training. Jim took the time and effort to figure out the best way to prepare me for that future training and develop a program that would meet all those unique goals. Jim has a great ability to alter his teaching style until he finds one that is most effective for you. Most instructors will continue teaching it the same way over and over even though you may not be getting it. Jim will do what it takes to ensure you become the pilot that you want to be. Since flying with Jim I have flown with at least 8 different instructors and I can easily say that flying with Jim was the best experience I've had.
