We flew in expecting some deliciousness as reported in the comments here, but no one posted the hours! For the record, as of today, they are 0700 to 1500 local. We landed (very hungry, I might add) at 1520 local. FWIW, the terminal building also closes at 1500 local, so we ended up walking a mile into town for some food. Will have to come back earlier at some point to try this restaurant.

The remodeled Hangar Cafe was a nice stop today -- My wife likes breakfast any time of day, and they offer it through all open hours here. Friendly service, fresh ingredients, and updated decor. Closed Sundays.

Keep in mind that the Hangar Cafe is not open on Sunday's.

Was at Merced today... walked by Cafe and noticed it was closed. It is apparently undergoing remodeling. Sign posted on window says "closed temporarily".

The phone number has changed. I called the airport and was told they're usually open until 2pm.
