Steve the general manager met me at the door and asked if there was anything I needed, even though I was just in a Piper Saratoga and he had Gulfstreams and Citations sitting on the ramp. I appreciate the same level of service for a little guy like me. Nice crew car too (Land Rover)

The staff was friendly and professional, and amenities were fine. One surprise was that the complimentary shuttle to the Orange line train is essentially on an "as available" basis. If the line guys are busy, you may have to wait a long time for a shuttle, or else pay for a taxi. Somewhat understandable, but the kicker is that they seem understaffed, so the line guys are "busy" even when there's only 1 other plane being serviced, or if they're waiting for an arrival they see on flightaware. In other words, I wouldn't count on the shuttle to the train station. I would use this FBO again if I was renting a car or using a taxi. But for taking the train into the city, I'll probably try another FBO next time.

Flew into MDW in a C182 for a Cubs game. The service at Odyssey was wonderful with a great line crew and convenient location off 13R/31L for easy access. They offer courtesy drop-off and pick-up for the "El" Orange-line and decent fuel prices. I would definitely use them again.

For jet drivers, Odyssey will discount jet fuel considerably when purchasing more than 200 gallons. Make sure you ask. Coupled with being able to park literally at the door, Odyssey is the most convenient and cheapest FBO. Especially so for those that don't like Atlantic or Signature!!

For a quick turn in a single-engine, they have a $30 handling fee that is waived with 10 gal min purchase. Add the city $7.50 landing fee. With the lowest fuel prices, this ends up being the least expensive option at MDW if you can buy the fuel.

Flew in to MDW on a Wednesday afternoon. Wanted to fuel the airplane the night before so we were ready for an early morning departure. They refused as they were concerned about fuel expansion and leaking on their ramp. It was about 30 degrees F that day. Need a GPU for engine start, line guys were very slow, only two aircraft on the ramp at the time and it took about 30 minutes for them to hook it up. Customer Care gals behind the counter were very friendly.

20-gallon purchase will waive one overnight parking fee of $30. They provide a ride to and from the Midway train station that for $2 takes you to downtown Chicago. Gas was significantly less here today than at Signature from what I was told when I called to verify their prices the day before, and Signature had no waivers if you bought fuel. Their physical location adjacent to one of the ends of the main center runway makes taxiing easy to their facility. But here is the kicker: First FBO I've seen that provides Starbucks coffee! (I hope other FBOs take note!)

Landing fee is $7.50, Ramp/Parking fee is $30 (waived with 20 gallons of fuel) and there is an unknown "handling" fee that was waived because I bought 10 gallons. Wow!

This is a follow-up to my rather negative post from 09-Aug-2008. Today I received a nice, hand-written letter from Tamara Mardis, Director of Marketing for Million Air. She also included a small gift with her letter. In the letter, Tamara said that because of my post here they are reviewing their fee structure at MDW and she asked for another chance to show me what a good outfit Million Air can be. Tamara, you are a class act. I will indeed take you up on your offer of another visit. The next time I have a trip to Midway, you'll be among the first to know!

Pricing depends on the A/C. My C310 minimum was 20 gallons to waive fees. Call ahead to get info for your A/C. Gas price this weekend was about $6.08. Great service. We will continue to use Million Air.

Went into Million Air on July 28 in a King Air 90. I was on the Million Air ramp for a total of 15 minutes just to drop off the aircraft owner (Part 91 flight.) When I asked about fees I was told I had to purchase 100 gallons of fuel to waive them, not 10 as others have posted here. I could not put that much fuel on board due to an upcoming maintenance procedure where I needed to land back home with minimum fuel. I explained that to the girl at the counter, but it fell on deaf ears. She simply said, "OK...No fuel, no services, you'll have to pay the fees." It cost us $328.26 ($150 Ramp, $150 Handling and $28.26 Landing) to visit this fine establishment. We won't be back.

Flew in Sunday July 20th in a Piper Cherokee and was treated just how I would expect the business jets would. Bought 28 gallons (10 required to waive the handling fees) and was only charged 7.50 for the landing fee. Dropped us off and picked us up from the Orange line to downtown. Very helpful and friendly FBO. I would make it a point to stop at Million Air every time I fly into MDW.

Big service for a little plane. Though we bought only 13 gallons (all we had used flying in), they still waived the ramp/handling fee and the first night's parking. Drop-off/pick-up for the El train was prompt and courteous, and the service was friendly to the max. No question -- next time in Chi-town, we're parking there again.

Was there for about 9 hours. Very nice to deal with. As long as you buy 10 gallons of gas the only fee you pay is the $7.50 landing fee, which I think is what the Airport assesses and they have to collect. I'd recommend Million Air.

I have been using Million Air for a couple of years with my Arrow II. Steve, the customer service girls and line-staff are fantastic. They always treat my small single with great care and service. Whether it’s going to the Orange Line (train) downtown or using Hertz at the FBO, my travel in and out of Million Air is always very expeditious. Never hesitate to go into Million Air whether you are big or small. BTW: The ATC folks are very workable with GA pilots.

Used this FBO for a recent family trip to Chicago. I came in here in my P210 and required minimal services. Even so, the people here treated us very well, helped with transportation to the city, and took great care of the plane. The line guys were exceptional. They kept a watchful eye on my aircraft through a set of strong TSTMS that came through one night while we were there. I'll definitely use Million Air again when traveling to Chicago.

We came on a very cold weekend, and they got us into the heated hangar right away, and everything went perfect. I think it is the most GA friendly FBO on the field from a price and service perspective.

I have returned twice now to Million Air MDW since the previous "incident" where the counter gal ran roughshod over me. This time I was treated like the King of Siam landing in his G5. The station manager was waiting for me and offered to take me to lunch. Everyone was great. The second time I surprised them and everything was still great. They made a mistake once, and they went to great lengths to rectify it. Good "recovery." I will return.

I have generally received good service at Million Air MDW, but upon paying my bill for 2 nights with my Commmander 114 single, I was charged $70 for the second night (first waived with fuel purchase.) The counter manager had charged me as a twin-turbo Commander! When I tried to explain her mistake, she got rather "snippy, " to put it in polite terms, clealy embarrassing the other gal behind the counter. She even went out to see if my plane really only had one engine! It was totally uncalled for and although she redid the bill, I did not get a word of "sorry about that, sir." She would not even make eye contact with me. Fortunately, this is the exception here and I will return, but beware -- if you don't think they charged you correctly, challenge them.

I switched from Signature to Million Air years ago, when it became clear Signature didn't want GA business. Now customer service is flagging at Million Air. I switched to Atlantic and once again found the strongly positive attitude toward service. Everyone gets busy at times, and nobody is perfect, but Atlantic seems to maintain the courtesy and respect that others have let slip. Sorry Million Air. Gotta try harder if you want to keep ALL your customers.

I arrived at MDW on Aug 1 doing an Angel Flight. The patient told me that someone was picking her up at Signature. From past experience with Signature at MDW and elsewhere I really didn't want to go there so I asked if she would mind if I went to Million Air instead. She was happy to do so and I taxied to Million Air. She called her ride that then had to drive down the street to the new pickup point. I was parked efficiently and there was someone to help with luggage. I went into the terminal and asked if there were any minimum fuel requirement or ramp fees and asked if there was any Angel Flight discount. I was told that since I was operating an Angel Flight they would waive the ramp fees and any minimum fuel. While Million Air may not have made any money from that stop they can be assured that they are now my FBO of choice at MDW and anywhere else I go where they are on the field. Thanks Million Air!!

I flew in to Million Air on a Sunday (3/11) and left on the following Wednesday. I fly a P210, the low end of what this FBO regularly services. In spite of me being a very small customer who only purchased 20 gallons of fuel, the staff here was terrific. They helped me with everything I needed, even when they were very busy on a Wednesday afternoon. While this was my first experience with Million Air at Midway, I'll use this FBO every time I fly to Chicago.

Flew into MDW on 3/16/07. Stayed 2 nights. Great friendly service both arriving and departing. Complimentary transport to and from the elevated train station. Two-dollar ride to downtown is an incredible bargain. One night tie down waved with fuel purchase. Million Air is always my FBO of choice in Chicago and everywhere.

I fly a corporate and police helicopter into Million Air KMDW several times a week. During peak or slow times, during rain, snow, these lines guys and customer service gals are the very best and they have my thanks. Those others that so freely bash this crew should try walking in their shoes. It’s a tough job and Million Air does it well, all the time, without complaint. My hats off to them, my thanks to management for the great service, always clean facility and great coffee!

We recently visited Million Air MDW in a Citation. The FBO was extremely busy. The ramp was absolutely loaded with multiple Gulfstreams, Hawkers and Challengers. Our Citation was about the smallest airplane except for an old Cessna 210. The pilot/owner of the 210 was very difficult and very demanding to say the least. His ill behaved children were banging on the windows and climbing the walls. We didn't think he would ever leave! Before he did though he wanted to argue the ramp and landing fees even though he hadn't taken on a drop of fuel and had spent the entire weekend. I watched Michelle very skillfully and pleasantly handle this very difficult and cheap character. She handled everything in a very professional manner. I was so impressed with her skills; I made a note to myself to leave a few words here. I would have probably just punched the guy! Million Air is always our FBO at Midway.
