I flew in last week for a 5 day convention at the Westin. Based on some comments on AirNav, I was apprehensive to dock at Exec Beech. Arriving in an Archer at some places means proportionate service. On Monday, we taxied up to a welcoming flight line director, and in 30 secs., their courtesy van appeared. I told the line Director to go ahead and service an incoming turbine, but she insisted that all planes receive same treatment. The line person and van driver helped put on plane cover as we would be parked for 5 days. We were whisked to the FBO for registration and then to the Hotel, some 3 miles away. Time from landing to hotel, 15 mins. As weather was coming I requested tie down, they handled that. On Sat. morning and they picked us up at hotel for return trip. My bill was fuel and $15 per night parking, less than parking at hotel. Factor in well deserved tips for staff and this experience was worth all and then some. I am returning. Highly recommend.

Stopped for overnight, service was excellent. Every one was friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stop the next time I get to KC.

Flew in to Kansas City for the NCAA Men’s basketball game on a Saturday. Had parked here several times before but was surprised when the ramp personal told me there was a parking fee. He said it was 2. I said 2 dollars and he said no 200 and I could offset it by purchasing fuel. The plane did not even hold that amount of fuel. We promptly moved away from their high priced real estate and found some free parking not far away. Will never do business with Executive Beech again.

This is a cool airport to fly into--the view is great. The FBO made all of our hotel and transportation arrangements and offered to put our plane in a hangar in case of a bad storm. This is a great feature when flying in the Midwest during storm season.

Here today in our N900NE Turbo Commander and had best of service from all sectors. Friendly, efficient staffing inside and out.

I have to take exception to Mr. Rogers comments as we have been flying into KMKC/Executive Beech for years and have always had excellent service. Our typical trip from Lake of the Ozarks is to fly in at noon when they shuttle us to the Crown Center, have lunch and see an afternoon show at Crown's live theater, and then get shuttled back via Executive Beech's complimentary shuttle. I do not think that 7 gallons is a lot of fuel to avoid the $27 handling fee when coming to a major downtown airport. The overnight parking/ramp fee of $15 is less than I am charged by the downtown hotels when we drive, but they do not charge this for a day trip. I do recommend GA aircraft try and utilize KMKC on weekends when the airport and FBO are not handling as much traffic, but we are still treated very well when mixing with the turbine traffic during the weekdays.

It is a shame that places like EB are sticking it to the flying community, the very consumers they rely on to maintain their business. In the state of our economy, let alone the image that is out there surrounding privately aircraft. Treating our own with highest integrity would be a start. EB charges ramp fees and a fee called 'handling charges'. A charged if you do not purchase a minimum volume of fuel for your model of aircraft. A light twin is $60.00, a ramp fee of $20.00 & 30 gals to stop at this establishment. It is not posted anywhere in the lobby or in flight directory. Pilots be aware of all EB locations. 100LL is $5.40 per gal STILL, when other pilot-friendly airports & FBO's are trying to lower the costs for the flying community. I feel sorry for the counter help & line that defend these fees. EB's ownership should be ASHAMED of themselves. As a pilot & FBO owner, I am embarrassed of this Midwest area FBO.

Great service, location, and friendly line and counter folks. The only real drawback.... They are expensive...I.E. Ramp fees, expensive gas.... They could use a little competition.

I am a student in the aviation department at the University of Dubuque, Dubuque, IA. I was very pleased with the service that we received and the way that we were treated. Even though we flew in on a C172, we were still treated as if we were flying a KingAir. Thank You.

Fly up to MKC for some barbecue and just rolled into Executive Beechcraft. Line guys were friendly; the lady behind the counter was nice. Asked for directions to some good KC barbecue (Jack Stack's) and were handed a map with directions and keys to a courtesy car. Bought only 30 gallons of Avgas and were treated like were the big dog on the block. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough about Executive Beechcraft. I flew in on 8/27/2007 on my way back to the Northwest from the east coast. I was directed to parking and immediately met. The front desk folks got me a great room at he Marriott downtown and provided transportation to the hotel and arranged for my pick-up in the morning. While there I was having a small problem with my Columbia 400 and Terry and Jim in the shop went out of their way to try and get me a solution. They even went as far as downloading the maintenance manual from the factory web site to see if they would be able to come up with a permanent solution. Sure, they service a TON of jets but I was treated just like all the jet folks and I will absolutely put them on my list of places to return to when ever I am needing a place to stop in that area of the country. Thanks Everyone.

Stopped off at MKC to enjoy lunch at Arthur Bryant's BBQ. Folks at Executive Beechcraft were friendly service was good. They let us take a crew car to the BBQ, even though we flew in a lowly Ercoupe and only purchased 15 gallons of gas. I felt well treated.

Line guys were great. Met me with the truck and fueled fast - even listen to fueling instructions. Front desk was efficient even if she was unaware that they are now a Cirrus Service Center (ahhh... Sure we fill them up too.). Gave me a courtesy car for the night. Even as a monopoly operator they did a good job for me.

Nice facility, no complaints. Service not quite as admirable as previous comment, but no worries, concerns or problems. Landing from south to north on RWY 01 requires maneuvering near/over downtown buildings and is something for all to be aware of. Although not unreasonable, I ended up landing high and long for not anticipating this issue.

Great Experience. We arrived in twin Comanche about 11:30 in the morning. We called in range about 12 minutes out and requested a ride to Union Station (about 3 miles away). When we pulled on to the ramp our van and driver were waiting. Later in the evening we requested a pick up and they were prompt. I did not buy gas and there was no ramp or landing charge (I did tip the driver generously). The service could not have been better.

Nothing can make you feel more invisible than a visit to Executive Beechcraft. This FBO has no competition on the field and acts like it. Flew in on 12-28-06 to pick up a passenger. Lineman mustering us in provided the most confusing, non-standard hand signals I've ever seen. Uploaded 150 gals of Jet-A and had to wait for the counter person to stop chatting-up her co-worker to finally notice that I was standing there waiting to pay too much for fuel. When flying to KC, try Olathe, New Millenium.

BLOODY POOR SERVICE! Flew in for my girlfriend's birthday. Called several days ahead of trip to make sure there was a vehicle to use. Was told there was and it wouldn't be a problem. On arrival the staff inside was tolerant at best. (The lineman was very friendly and courteous though) Found that the courtesy car was only available to those 25 or older. Luckily, there was a courtesy shuttle. The date was wonderful, but when it came time to depart, we called Executive Beech again for the shuttle. We told them where we were (at the plaza by Cheesecake Factory) and they said wait outside for the driver. Thirty minutes later, no driver, I call back to ask ETA and was told "oh yeah, I forgot the shuttle doesn't go that far, you'll need to take a cab”. Found a cab for 20 bucks back to airport. As we are leaving, very upset, the staff didn't apologize or even thank us for our business. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Unless you fly a plane that sucks and blows, so will your service from Executive Beechcraft at KMKC.
