BURNED BY ENTERPRISE! Made a reservation was assured a car would be waiting. Arrived and no car. VFS called and they said they were on their way. 1 hour later a van shows up to advise they don't have any cars but he could offer me a lift to Thrifty. Thrifty let me drop the car at MPV, but I don't know if they would have had a car waiting. No club car at VFS and not a great place to sit around and wait. 17/35 is definitely the preferred runway -- 5/23 is not great.

Stopped in to go to Montpelier the airport is nice and easy to use. They have a restaurant on the field I didn't sample but looked nice with a view onto the field. I called for a cab Payless, for a trip to town they came in 15 min on the way back they said they'd be there in 15 min but it took almost an hour. Waiting for the cab back took longer than the flight to the airport! Next time I'll try enterprise even if it’s for a couple of hours. I didn't buy fuel so I can't report on price

Nice airport, with an ILS and GPS approaches, plenty of room and 24 hr self serve fuel or truck service from Vermont Flying during normal business hours. Terminal building has DTC weather, restaurant and restrooms. Great alternative to BTV or MVL, way easier in and out.
