We landed at Ocala for lunch at the Tailwinds Cafe. No FBO service fee of any kind for a single piston engine airplane like mine! Did have to pay the lunch bill though. Everyone there very friendly and we parked the plane right in front of the restaurant.

Great Food and Service. Landmark Aviation Employees are so nice. Line crewman met me at my plane and asked if he could help. Lady behind the counter even watched my dog as we ate lunch. I will be back. Super Time. Newly paved runway is also nice. I thought the fuel prices were well in line and below average for the service you get. I will be back.

Great restaurant! Friendly, and great food! However, it's co-located with Landmark Aviation FBO. If you fly in be prepared to buy over-priced fuel (about $1 above other local airports) or pay a "ramp fee".

Flew in for lunch on a Saturday. Had an open wireless connection and filed my return flight plan right from the table! Great place to fly in and eat!

The price of the $100 hamburger has gone up with today’s fuel prices, however, this Cheeseburger is still worth the trip.

Great food, good service. I had the French Dip (which was a little small, filling nonetheless.) My Friend had a cheeseburger (which looked outstanding.) A nice change of pace.

May 13, 2007, we had dinner at the Tailwind. They served one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten! Nice little cafe with a wonderful ambience, good food, good friendly service, and a great view of the ramp area.

I usually have a great meal at this restaurant, however when we went yesterday, they said that they would not serve breakfast because it was past the hours for breakfast. That said, I then asked if I could order lunch. They said that they could not serve "lunch" because it wasn't "lunch" yet. The restaurant was full of people so how could they not serve food???!!!! The waitress said there is a subway up the street why don't you try that? Needless to say, we had our coffee and left. I know I won't be flying in here for food anymore.

The food is excellent and the restaurant provides a great atmosphere for pilots and family!
