It is rare to find a repair station with the kind of committment to excellent customer service that Winchester Aero Services has. We are based at KOKV and John & Art have taken care of our airplane for many years - always with excellent service. However, recently one weekend we were stranded in Pennsylvania with an alternator problem on a dark rainy Friday night with all the facilities at the airport shut down for the weekend. We called John on Friday night at home, and he was ready and willing to fly up to Pa. to fix the airplane on the ramp on Saturday morning. We were able to nurse the airplane back home and John came out on Saturday, met us at the airport, diagnosed the problem and got us repaired and back in the air in no time. This is the kind of top notch customer service and commitment to excellence that is worth its weight in gold.

John and Art have taken care of our 177 for the past three years. The service and quality of the work have always been excellent. Highly recommended!

John has serviced multiple aircraft for me going back more than a decade. He is unfailingly dedicated and has gone well beyond the norm, on my behalf, many times. For example, my Yak 50 was AOG 50 miles away in the middle of winter with a pneumatic system leak. The local maintenance facility wouldn't touch it. John drove over and repaired it in bitter winter cold. He has maintained two Vikings, one Decathlon, and one Yak 50 for me, and I recommend his services.
