Very nice facility, helpful staff, and lots of amenities in the FBO. Fees are high but I’m sure that’s due to the airport authority. Great place to stop though! AMG Inc.

I had a great experience at Signature in a C172 on 22-Aug-2012. The staff was very professional, friendly, and helpful. I called ahead of time to inquire about the fees, and was quoted higher than what I was charged when I flew in. It would be nice if an FBO as large as Signature would post their price sheet online for each of their locations to save the time and hassle of calling! The handling fee was $33.00, and waived for a minimum fuel purchase of 7 gallons at $9.07/gal after tax. The landing fee was $18.16, and there was an infrastructure fee of $5.00. I did not pick up any passengers, and was there for less than an hour, so I did not have to pay the security fee or parking fee. Said and done I got out of there with an $86.67 bill, which included 7 gallons of fuel. Not bad! The staff was very pleasant, and after I paid my bill, I hung around in the crew lounge for a bit before taking off again. They told me to take my time and not to sweat it if I stayed over the 1 hr mark.

It's Signature and what makes it worse is its Signature ORD. The only more expensive Signature I've been too is Signature BOS. Cost almost $450 to get our PC-12 out of hock after only 10 minutes on the ramp. I would have bought fuel if it weren't for their insane prices. No thanks, I'll tanker. At least I didn't have to park myself this time unlike the past three times I visited... MDW here we come!
