Well read the comments and my bosses said "Yes, we want Worcester." And my answer is...Not that bad. Line guy ambled up right away and chocked the plane. Desk folk were nice. Fuel was cheaper than my home base. And then there was the $10 to Massport as "Ramp Fee". But as I taxied in, there were Massport vehicles everywhere. They have a dinosaur of an airline terminal that is almost as big as Knoxville, TN and no airline paying fees. Massport is the problem - a government agency collecting user fees so my bosses can buy millions of dollars of Massachusetts products. More regressive thinking.

I had a very bad experience with Swissport today. No line personnel came out when I taxied up. I chalked my own airplane. They told me there would be a $10 parking fee. I said I would pay when I was ready to leave. As I arrived to the FBO for my departure, they informed me that there was an additional $35 handling fee, which could be waived by purchasing 30 gal of $6.61 avgas. I told them they should have told me when I arrived because I did not have time for fuel before my departure. The staff was rude and discourteous. I am lodging a complaint with the city manager. I would rather fly to KBED and get treated better. Never again will I choose KORH because of Swissport

I fly into Worcester at least once a month in my Saratoga, and find the staff at Swissport very friendly and accommodating. The parking charge is a bit of a drag, but is small. The controllers at Worcester are great. There is no pre-heat service available, and they change $100/night for a heated, community hangar

I taxied in today and hit a set of nearly invisible all black chocks which were left out by the less than conscientous line personnel. This caused damage to my wheel fairing but in typical Swissport fashion they refused to admit responsibility and said it was my fault because I didn't wait for a lineman to marshal me in. Sorry, but I think it's common knowledge that you shouldn't leave a set of chocks out on an active ramp. I would like to avoid this place but unfortunately my business requires me to come to Worcester frequently. All you have to do is read the other comments on this site to know that they should be going out of business soon. Hopefully something better will come along.

I have flown in and out of Swissport several times on a king air and every time it is a pleasure.

Over the past 9 years I fly in once a month for business. Just recently, Swissport has instituted a $10 parking fee for stays over an hour. As I stated to the folks at the counter, "This would be my last flight into "KORH". I have dealt with the less than stellar appearance of the facilities, and the inflated AV Gas prices. However, I found it insulting to have to pay a parking fee although fuel was purchased. Additionally, as I was performing a pre-flight, the line personnel guided and parked a G-4 in front of my C-172. Jet blast rocked my aircraft. Thanks!

I visited there last Sunday and was amazed that for a 3-hour visit in my Twin Comanche I was charged $50.00!!! Very nice personnel BUT costs were ridiculous!!! I even rented a car for $52.00 for 3 hours!! Fuel was highest cost in region!! Would not come back!! Ever!!

Stopped to get dinner in Worcester in my Warrior. Staff was very friendly, but the facilities look dated and the courtesy car was a grungy old Crown Vic that was retired from Massport. Although I did not purchase any fuel overall not a bad stop. They will charge you $10 if you park over an hour.

From Mike Trask on 14-Oct-2006
Has the potential to be a top-notch FBO, but there is an apparent lack of concern for the way the facility looks. The front doors (airside) bind and are dirty. The men's room urinal was constantly running. There was a grungy car/truck battery and tools’ lying on the front counter - there has to be a better place to set this temporarily! Fuel price is on the high side, but it is the Northeast, I suppose. The customer service people were very friendly and helpful, however.

Excellent service! Called ahead the day before arrival and they were waiting for me. Avis dropped the car for after hours pickup, n/c. Line personnel were prompt, courteous, diligent and exceedingly helpful. They'll earn your business.

Stopped here to visit the Higgins Museum of Armor. Fuel was $4.96 but the waived the $10 parking fee. Very friendly desk person but they'd sell a lot more fuel with a more reasonable price. Avis, in the terminal 200 yards away will drop off the car at the FBO while Enterprise is an off field rental. Museum was worth the visit.

From Steven Oxman on 28-Nov-2005
The people were great, the facilities were nice. Rental car arrangements with Enterprise were great. However, after purchasing over $500 of fuel to top off, they charged me $200 per night to hangar my plane (Twin Beech) for 2 days. So my two day stay there cost me nearly $1,000.00. Going to ORH saved me nothing in expenses compared to BED and I had to drive over one more hour to get anywhere I was going. I think management their needs to rethink their policies if they want business at ORH. I was totally surprised with my bill there.

As of 9Sep05 100LL was $5.74/gal. I found a way to park somewhere else on the airport for 8 hours and stopped at Brainard on the way home for $3.95 fuel. Prices at other area airports I called were in the $4-4.50 range. I think Swissport prices are a rip off.
