I do not know what to say about the adventure I had Sunday Nov 8. I farm in Arkansas and bent some parts in my combine. The closet parts I could find were in Iowa. I had to stop at two airports to gather them all up. This OTM was not one of my planed stop. I got information on my next stop in MIW. The guys there set me up with transportation here. This is when my adventure began. The student waited for me to get there but the car only had 10 minutes of gas I know the gas station is 12 minutes away. I would be upset but it was too much fun with the company I had. Other than that it was a great stop. I got the car even though no gas purchase thanks to MIW where I had just filled up. Like I said this was not a planed stop but Did not need much services I was in too big of a hurry and the student disappeared as soon as he pointed to the keys.

July 10/11 - Came in after hours on a Friday night, and the line boy had been given instructions to stay until we got in. He was very helpful and polite, and gave us the keys to a crew car for overnight. In the morning we were given good service to fuel the plane. A bit more expensive than expected, but the free use of the car was worth it. One runway is under construction, but 31-13 is open. Great terminal! Nice town. Good service. We'll be back!

Just stopped off for a break while out sightseeing. One of the nicest terminals around. Didn't buy anything except some chips, but staff was most hospitable and friendly.

Stopped for a break on a quiet Friday afternoon. Service was prompt and friendly. Nice historical information to view/read while waiting or taking a break.

The FBO here is awesome - Felicia, Donna and Steve treat you like a family member, very personable people! Stayed in Ottumwa for a week and had use of crew car. The service is superb! There is a lot of history here at this airfield, stop by and have a look - excellent stop!
