Nice FBO, but the posted gas price does not include tax. So I paid what I thought was 5.27, then got tax on top of that. Had I known, I would have fueled elsewhere for less money. Buyers beware.

Super FBO! We came to Plattsburgh for an extended stay & SheltAir helped with hotel & car arrangements. Be advised that hotels here are heavily booked & it is recommended to make reservations 3 weeks in advance. Beware of America's Best Value Inn! Not a good experience there!

Stopped in for a quick business meeting. Excellent service and great FBO at SheltAir. Used one of the nicest crew cars I have ever driven. The only downside was the $27.50 ramp fee and an $18.75 landing fee for a three-hour stay. That was after topping off for fuel. I emailed the manager of SheltAir regarding the $46.25 I was charged for my short stay @ PBG. He replied that a mistake had been made, and I should have been charged $2.88 landing fee and $7.50 ramp fee. My account was credited the difference the next day. I am pleased with the response, and will certainly use SheltAir in the future. Overall a great FBO!

Beautiful Sunday afternoon when we landed in Plattsburgh to visit the old airbase/new county airport. We were promptly greated at Sheltair by Jason and Jay. Sarah was on duty inside the FBO. Extremely professional and friendly service. Took us on a tour of the facility and even offered a courtesy car. Didn't go into town but did have fresh coffee and cookies courtesy of Sheltair. Clean, nice lobby area. If you want an interesting and nice place to fly to, try KPBG. Yes there is a landing/parking fee being collected for the County (we did get a discount on the published price of fuel) but it was well worth the price to visit.

What fun to land on 11000x200 with no tower. The folks at SheltAir are great. Very friendly, first-class service. I was not charged a landing or ramp fee, but I did need fuel, so maybe there was one and it was waived. FBO lounge is top-notch with complimentary popcorn, bottled water, and every amenity you could imagine in the restrooms. Nice weather planning computer, Internet access, snooze room, and great passenger waiting area with large TV, etc. Great place to stop!

Stop for fuel nice FBO and nice folks. Watch out for county fees 3+ for landing and 7.50 Cessna 172 for parking that’s just to walk in the FBO to say Hi.

Coming home from North Carolina last week, Burlington was socked right in for me. With the better ceilings and an extra long runway, PBG was a great choice! Eric and his crew at SheltAir were excellent: set me up with a $20 rental car, free coffee, popcorn, and wireless internet in a newly nice remodeled FBO with long hours. The FBO is in the building with the control tower. Worth the visit! 24 hour self-service gas too.
