Great stop and friendly folks! They set us up with discounted room rate and the courtesy car...Thanks. PHN is one of our regular stops when enroute from the east coast to STP.

For clearing Customs (nothing to do with Orzel), avoid this Port of Entry. It's a big hassle every time. They want a call exactly 1 hour ahead, and frequently do not answer the phone. Last weekend they asked for nearly every bit of info already given on APIS, then it was lost when I arrived. If possible, go through SKY.

Orzel wasn't fazed by my late arrival. Another airplane in the pattern got a message to Orzel for me that I would be getting there after the normal closing time. When I pulled onto the ramp the staff was still there, and got me quickly refueled and back on my way.

Stopped at PHN with our Travel Air to see relatives and weren't familiar with the airport. Orzel had a lineman out to direct us to parking as we pulled up and answer our questions on the spot. They even had cold bottled water in the fridge. When our plans changed they took our fuel order over the phone so we could be ready for an early departure next morning. Nice service.

Visited the Port Huron area for an RON on 8/10/07. The folks at Ouzel went out of their way to insure everything went smoothly, especially the 3 rental cars we requested. We operate a Falcon 2000 and it was a pleasant change to utilize an airport that isn't swamped with activity.

Huge thanks to the folks at Orzel who got our 182 re-started after a brief stop at PHN customs. Hot start procedures had failed us on a beautiful Sunday afternoon (a slow time at PHN), and our chances of getting home were looking grim. But the guys at Orzel took time away from their own work to help us with ground power, a tow, pulling the plugs, and eventually getting the engine to fire. Based on this I can only assume more routine FBO services at Orzel are top notch.

Stopped here twice (so far) July 22 and July 27, and both times the linemen/women were helpful. The Friends Of The Airport group is a special group of folks who were also very helpful and informative.

The folks at Orzel are awesome! Sue, Rick, and Tom (not to mention Molly, the dog) made our unexpected stay very pleasant and relaxing. Thanks, too, to the Friends of the Airport, whose clubhouse is a great place to spend the day.

Having just bought a 1957 Cessna 172 last Wed on the 18th, in Pa, flew back to home base at 15G, Weltzien Skypark, Ohio, 2 days later I was on my way back to my home state of Michigan for a 3 day weekend and I read about Orzel here. And I was very pleased with the courteous service from the good folks there at Orzel, very friendly and helpful. I asked about putting the plane in the hangar the first night, they said that was fine and charged me only $10.00!!! Wow! Plus a 10-cent per gallon discount for cash purchase, wonderful! If you fly into PHN, definitely give Orzel a try; you will be glad you did!!! 5 STARS
