The airport is ok. There is a decent sized runway, a courtesy car, and a Comfort Inn and Baymont in town. The service there is another thing. The guy working there was pestering me and another crew while we were there for "tips" hey buddy you get tips when you DO something. He did not help us at all and he wanted a tip. Ridiculous.

Picked up and aircraft from there recently. Nice assistance, friendly atmosphere. The facilities are open to use by flying in pilots. Price for gas is good.

Airport terminal is very nice, but no one is there to attend it. Self serve gas is ok, and the facilities are open. Crew car is outside, so sign the log and go.

Deserted airport. Price for gas seems high for SS at a small airport like this one. Terminal building was unlocked for access to computers and bathrooms. All and all, I grade this stop a D+

I used Turman's self service (I actually thought it was the airport's self service but the charge came through as Turman's.) It was $3.60 a gallon for 100LL which was much less than the $4.40 they had posted online. This is a great airport, very nice runway, tarmac, and terminal building with all the comforts of home. I highly recommend stopping through here for gas or a visit. There is also a courtesy car!
