They now have Jet A available. For small Turbo Props, this is a much less expensive stop than SJC.

Upon landing at RHV, I was informed by ATC that the only overnight parking available was in transient parking in front of the terminal building. All other parking (at Nice Air etc.) is by reservation only. Turned out to be no problem, plenty of open spaces right in front of the terminal with good tie downs and a pile of nice chocks. I called San Jose Fuel and they came immediately and fueled my Mooney for $4.10/gal. The terminal building has flight planning, restrooms, snacks and a list of cab companies and other useful info on the wall by the pay phone. They charge $9/nite for parking (vs. $40 for first night at SJC/Atlantic, waived with fuel, but each night thereafter is $20). I called a cab, which arrived in 2 minutes. Don't bother with the FBO’s; the transient parking is convenient and plentiful. The terminal building is open 7 days a week until 10pm. Very efficient and easy. Great experience.

I have used San Jose Fuel on many occasions and always found them to be friendly, responsive and professional.

"NICE AIR" = VERY BAD EXPERIENCE Squadron 2 + San Jose Fuel Services = Good Guys!!! The only good thing about so called "'NICE' Air" is that they are 2 doors down from Squadron 2 and San jose fuel services. I exprienced a complete electrical failure on my way from Socal. I was looking for assitance with my problem and stopped at 'Nice' air and asked for help. After I explained to them that my battery had died and I am unable to start the engine, I was rudely asked to move my airplane from thier parking area and offered no direction for assistance. My co-pilot and I had to push the plane across the north side of the parking area away from 'nice' air after we were attacked by another member of thier "nice" team. Fortunately, the guys at "San Jose Fuel Services" took a good care of us and fixed the problem within an hour and a half. Thank you Jeff and Warren for the great help. We made it back home the same evening safe and sound.
