I stopped by and bought fuel at the FBO and was treated as nice as anywhere you could go. The fellows there work a full day and the fuel system is self-serve. They keep the gas price low and the facilities are clean. If you are traveling, then you need to plan to always land before 5pm because the rest of the world is headed home at 5pm. Pete Jones is a gentleman and runs a first class business.

Called the FBO to try to arrange someone to stay after hours. Was willing to pay. I was told, "we don't do that". They just close the doors and leave U out in the cold. Sorry service for an FBO. Go somewhere else if you can.

Stopped @ KRNV for a planned fuel stop. Self serve was 4.50 per gallon - compared to up to 8.00/gal at some FBOs. Facilities were clean and self serve worked well but limited the purchase to $500.00 per credit card. Runway in good condition.

On a cross country Oct 26, 2007, I chose to land here instead of GLH. I made the wrong choice. While RNV's runway is in great condition, the FBO locked their doors while I was there fueling. I wish all airports well, but this group needs some hospitality training.
