Landed around 5pm... Wanted to continue to our home airport but was told that there was no self-serve, and moreover that there would be a $75 call out to get a fuel truck. They also charged about $1.50/gal more than most of the airports in the state ($5.09). Only went because weather diverted us... And thought we would make the best of it but man it felt a bit like price gouging.

Flew in to Roswell to spend 4th of July in Ruidoso. Great Southwest is a nice FBO. Line personnel and lady inside were very courteous and hangared ($30 a night) my Debonair as requested due to rain. I just wish their gas prices were more reasonable. I stopped in Brownfield inbound and saved $1.20 a gallon. Inconvenient but saved $50+.

My vote for one of the worst in NM. You basically have to buy fuel at their over inflated price if you want any service. If you need a GPU, even if you buy fuel you only get use for 15-20 minutes. You gotta be joking me. My FO had to make coffee, get his own ice, pull our chocks and we marshaled our own selves. When are these cheap FBO's going to learn if you want us to buy gas, make it reasonable and offer good service. The one positive, the desk staff was friendly but their hands were tied when it came to assisting us.

Is this place the end of the world or what? $6.29/gallon gas plus a $77 after hours call-out fee. No shelter from rain, restroom, or even a phone. Number to call doesn't even list the area code. Line guy was nice enough, but only gets paid for two hours and has to pay for his own gas. At least let him keep the call-out fee. Fuel truck pumped at about 1/2 gallon per minute. This place sucks...Go to Tucumcari.

Landed KROW 9:15pm -- tower and FBO both close at 9 apparently. Found my way to the ramp without trouble. No restrooms or after-hours access of any kind. Only a one-way exit gate, and nothing worth walking to. The hotels in town publish airport shuttles, but they lie -- none of the 8 I called had one available, and were rude about my inquiring. The town is over 8mi away, so the cab pickup took 25 minutes to arrive, and was about $30 one-way. The cab was friendly. In the morning, the service was perfunctory, but not warm or inviting. Handled my phoned-in fuel order just fine. Lineman tossed me my 2qts oil and drove off without so much as a word. Didn't even get a "thanks" on checkout. Maybe next time I'll arrive in a Citation and enjoy the comforts everyone else reported.

Great customer service! Went out of their way to make sure my family was comfortable while fueling my aircraft. Prompt and efficient.

I agree with what all the others have said - very nice, efficient people with real nice facilities. Brand new courtesy cars. Just not cheap (but worth it).

Great service, cavernous facility. By the time I parked my Bonanza, serviced the lave and availed myself of the free fountain drinks (how cool is that!) they had my fuel ticket ready to go. Fuel prices are a couple quarters higher than KATS nearby, but it's much easier to pick up an IFR at KROW.

I flew into KROW on 3-3-07 and stayed overnight for a weekend getaway. I did not need any fuel or services but was still treated great by Great Southwest Aviation. They have everything you could dream of- coffee, lounge area, pop, eating area, planning, and I am sure more that I just did not notice. Very polite counter help and even on this slow day a young man was right out on the ramp to guide me in. The tower was very friendly, and Best Western Sally Port Inn provided free airport transportation.

Stopped in on Jan 25th. This place is a Jet BONEYARD! Very friendly staff. Crew car was good for a quick lunch. Picked up UFO coffee mugs and shot glasses. Fueled quickly at a reasonable price. Will be back.

The highest price for Avgas around! Nice people but.... I think they would prefer to sell to corporate jets only...

Not a busy place but we were treated right. Courtesy cars are all brand new Toyotas. I wasn't there for long, just a quick lunch and flew out. Wouldn't mind staying a little longer. Lots of eye candy (airplanes in storage) scattered about the field. Fuel truck was quick and friendly.
