Fuel stop Jan 03, 2008 for 50 gal. Good service, price for fuel, $4.28600 per gal, state tax, $3.64, FET avgas, $10.09, Airport fee $11.83. Total for 50 gallons, $248.43

Made a brief stop here to pick up a friend, called on radio ahead to advise of quick turn...Worst line service ever! I was only a/c on ramp; quick turn took 45mins for only 180gals of gas! Also lucky to have electrical system left after line guy unplugged gpu without checking to see if a/c was turned off first. Won't make the mistake of stopping in here again. CSR behind desk was very helpful and nice and tried to fix issues with line service however not much she could do to help.

Arrived in a 172 and stayed several nights. First night free with fuel purchase. $5/night otherwise. Trouble-free service throughout with Bay Land arranging the rental car with Hertz. Car was ready upon arrival and Bay Land accepted the keys for drop-off with zero hassle. KSBY (at this time of year, at least) was very quiet, but we did get to see a Marine V-22 practicing approaches. Impressive. Bay Land is definitely recommended.

I brought Angel Flight patients in through Bay Land. The good folks here at Bay Land waived the $10 landing fee and let me use the crew car while I waited for the passengers to return for the trip back home. From time to time you hear Angel Flight pilots being thanked for their time and expense, but I want to thank Bay Land and the many supportive non-pilots that make our contributions possible. This generous FBO deserves our patronage.

Flew in last week and left my master on for 20 minutes. Of course, it would not turn over when I tried to start. These folks called back their mechanic from home. Fifteen minutes later I was on my takeoff roll. Took advantage of their courtesy car on the return trip and went into town 10 minutes away for a burger. Definitely a good place to stop. I'll be back.

Stopped in for an afternoon. The FBO can be hard to find as it's on the western side of the airport away from all the large hangers and tower. People inside very friendly and helpful. Courtesy Car available on request.

Great little FBO! Nice people and very fast top off. Price for fuel was as advertised. They had low altitude IFR charts and plates in stock. Commercial flights at SBY but I had the place to myself. I'll be back!

Interesting... I flew in over Memorial Day weekend, and on May 29 purchased 9.3 gallons, paying $4.18/gal (I am looking at my credit card receipt as I type) for $38.93, County Airport fee $2.07, MD State Tax $0.65, and something called FET Tax $1.80, for a grand total of $43.45. Now, on the computer printed Sales Receipt that was stapled to the credit card receipt, the gas rate is $4.45/gal (9.3 gal) with only County Airport fees $2.07, for a grand total $43.46. So your guess is as good as mine... $4.18/gal or $4.45/gal?

Visited on 4/30/2006 to spend an afternoon in the region. Bypassed a cheap fuel alternative, to fuel at Bayland, because posted AirNav price was reasonable at $3.85 per gallon. Actual price charged after fill up was $4.45 per gallon including taxes; a big difference and even higher than my home field in the Northeast where fuel prices normally exceed Mid-Atlantic prices. An airport fee of 8.17 (odd figure) was also added despite the $160+ fuel purchase. My mistake for not confirming price prior to requesting a top off but, even if I had, my planned departure time was after the business hours of the cheap stop I bypassed, eliminating that option, and other after hours options would require diverting. Checked today and price is still listed as $3.85. Since fuel is offered at much lower prices by other operators throughout the region I'll be more careful in the future to bring my business to those other operators who want and deserve it.

Stopped here for fuel on way to Sun n Fun last week. Fuel price was excellent (compared to other FBOs) and received good service. Ramp was a mess due to construction but when finished, it should be fine again.
