Nice stop for breakfast on a beautiful island. Borrowed the courtesy car for a drive to the bakery/restaurant for breakfast at the harbour and see a little of the island. Nice people and nice place to eat while looking over the boats in port.

Great service. I use the airport roughly 6-8 times per year. The fuel runs a little steep for some, however, after realizing the process to get it to the island, I can understand where the cost comes from. The terminal is staffed 7 days a week with airline employees, which is wonderful. They are always helpful even if you are not using their service. There is a little sandwich/coffee shop across the street, which is nice for a stop off. The local taxi service will pick you up and take you to town for a couple of bucks. I highly suggest the trip for anyone.

Used Township to spend another night at the Beaver Island Lodge, had to wait until after dark to let the wind get reasonable and Ray had the van come get us for the evening at 10 pm. The next day had to relocate the plane to Welke for the next morning for a closure to crack seal he shuttled me back and forth to do so, great people highly recommend staying with them.

Stopped for fuel in a Cessna amphibian. Credit card machine fussy. Finally worked but no receipt. Very helpful informative reception in the little terminal. Offered some cold bottled water and called Erin Motel on the waterfront of the harbor. Flew to the harbor, beached the plane easily, met by owner, Roy, secured plane on a windy afternoon and had a harbor/aircraft view room. No air conditioning. Evening meal across the street was good. Breakfast was at Franks & I agree with other comment about this food.

Flew in for a quick day trip with my son. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Set us up with a van, directions, and supplied places of interest to visit. We ended up eating at Danny Franks near downtown. If you have kids this is a great little place, but for me I could have used some better food.

The best source of Beaver Island visitor information is the local Chamber of Commerce: Beaver Island Chamber of Commerce.
