Currently 6:00am to 1:30pm or so, 7 days a week. Really couldn't be much better -- great greasy breakfast at 1980's prices. Fast, friendly, and a great view of the runway.

We stopped for a bite to eat after flying in on the EAA's B17. Friendly staff, quick service and very good food. Worth the stop!

Nice little cafe at the base of the control tower. Decent food and very reasonable prices. The pork tenderloin is legendary for its size. Seems to do a nice breakfast and lunch business and popular with locals and those who work on the field as well as fly-ins. I suspect the tower would let you up for a tour if you asked. Beware C-130 traffic at the field. They're faster than they look! Historic old airfield that goes back to the 1920's. The airport building could use some more pictures of the place as it was back then. The Birdwing Aircraft Company was there and it was a stop on the National Air Tour in the late '20s.
