Just wanted to update my many previous great experiences at Richmor. They now have an awesome restaurant right in the FBO...Sweet Marie's Cafe. The food and service are outstanding, the menu offers a wide range of choices (with new specials each day) and the handmade potato chip fries are scrumptious. They are open Monday through Saturday from about 7am to 3 pm. Richmor is now a great breakfast or lunch stop along with a refueling for your aircraft and a nice relaxing rest in their plush and cozy FBO. Add this place to your list of "hundred dollar hamburger" flights.... It’s a winner!

Happy New Year to you all. Here is the Pirep on SWF. The restaurant is open again. My wife and I went there today. Sweet Marie's Cafe is run by a team of three ladies (Mom, Aunt, and Daughter). Hours are Mon-Sat 7 am-3 pm. They are located in the Richmor Aviation building. Food is very good, coffee is very fresh, and the price is very inviting.:D Two predecessor restaurants were nice too, but they didn't survive. I really hope Sweet Marie's will turn that trend around. Since nearby Rick's Runway Cafe at MGJ went out of business, it is nice to have a pilot's mess hall back in the area. Two things; one is they only take cash (ATM is available), and it seems like it's their first rodeo; they are trying very hard, so be patient for awhile... It's just like flying, as they practice more, they will become as good as you are at flying your machine. :) Happy Eating!

I'd like to also add my comments to the ones below. I had a great experience at this fine FBO back in Nov. After parking my aircraft at Atlantic, based on some erroneous information obtained elsewhere, the staff at Richmor went above and beyond to help us out. They loaned us the crew car and we were able to go on our way and spend the day in the local area. The friendliness and assistance provided by the wonderful staff at Richmor stood in stark contrast to the indifference and blasé attitude we experienced at Atlantic like light and day, with much better prices to boot. If you find yourself landing at SWF, you can't go wrong with parking your aircraft with the good people at Richmor aviation.

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone at the KSWF Richmor Office for their help on November 17th. The process of getting a courtesy car and making it down to West Point was extremely smooth and I couldn't have asked for better service! The staff was incredibly polite, professional, and helpful which strongly distinguished this particular FBO from its competitors. The two linemen who assisted us that night were absolutely superb and incredibly friendly. They both played a huge role in troubleshooting an unexpected frost buildup on the wings of our aircraft. If it wasn't for them, we would have needed a hotel room for the night, which would have made half of us, miss work the following day. All my passengers were also very pleased with the services received. Not too sure if the expenses of the aircraft can justify a trip soon but if we are in the area of KSWF, Richmor Aviation will be our FBO of choice! Highly recommended to anyone!

We diverted to KSWF in our 182 on an IFR flight when northern part of NJ was getting socked in. We arrived unexpectedly just before Richmor Aviation closed. Despite that, their ground staff was extremely helpful securing accommodation, loaning us their courtesy car, and helping us with a rental car the next day when the weather remained poor. They were also very flexible about my return time (which depended on the weather and my work schedule in NYC). They're a bit of a drive from the Big Apple compared with some closer FBOs, but their courtesy and facilities are wonderful. Thanks again to them.

One of the best! We arrived in Skyhawk 329ME on Friday, 4/20/2012--tired, with nothing booked. Bridget arranged a hotel, and drove us to the car rental desks. In the morn, we returned the car to Richmor.

The Richmor staff is very friendly and helpful. From the moment you pull up to the ramp area, a friendly lineman will offer you help with fuel, carrying bags or anything you need. Inside they offer a beautiful lounge, hot tea, coffee and cookies along with fuel and a hangar or evening tie down if needed. They have several food options just a few hundred steps away at the KSWF terminal as well as a separate sandwich shop just down the road. The staff will gladly take you to either food option and pick you up. There are even nice Hilton Hotels only a few minutes drive from Richmor that are great if you need to do an overnight. If you want to stop at a superb towered airport with top quality amenities, Richmor at KSWF is among the finest you will find anywhere.

Was there 2 days ago and it was the same fast, friendly service (and free cookies) as we always get at Richmor! Unfortunately the Galaxy Cafe that was located in the Richmor building has closed. Richmor lent us a courtesy car and there is a great sandwich shop just a 1 minute drive down the road, in the building with the BX.

Recently transferred to the field and the crew at Richmor is great. Very quick on the top off and pleasant desk personnel and linemen. I heard the galaxy restaurant is closed, but there are a lot of choices close by. They have the best fuel price on the field and it's also the easiest FBO in/out.

We stopped a Richmor for a brief visit to refuel of our Phenom 100 and get some calories. Tureli at the front desk and the entire staff was superb. The crew car was not available so we were taken to the local diner for lunch and picked up. All with a smile. Nice to see a friendly and helpful FBO. Don't think twice about visiting Richmor. We were impressed.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Richmor at KSWF. Flew in on 12/8/10 for an overnight stay. We were instantly parked and greeted by a very kind gentlemen who asked us if we had a rental car. He got the rental car ready right away and helped carry our luggage. The kind lady at the desk offered us coffee and cookies which we took advantage of. Thanks for the great experience. Look forward to seeing you folks again.

Richmor at SWF. First rate FBO. Will bend over backwards to help get done whatever it is you need to get done. Car rental was perfect and ready when I got there. Fuel was completed before I got back. Lunch was great. This FBO is consistently good year in - year out.

Really great people at Richmor Stewart but warning do not let them rent a car from Enterprise at this airport. Quoted $55.00 by staff at Richmor for one day rental but charged my credit card $147.00. Despite my best effort, can't get charges reversed. Do go to Richmor at Stewart, don't let them rent you a car from Enterprise.

Arrived 9AUG10, departed 15AUG10. Rental car waiting as promised, we had help with luggage to/from plane/car (cars not allowed on field). Call Richmor to arrange rental car - they handled the entire interface with Enterprise. Absolutely the BEST FBO I have visited - courtesy, fuel pricing, assistance with 'non business things to do', etc.

Nice FBO - looks like it was the officers club back in the day or something. Mark and the rest of the staff were super. Rental car waiting for me - Johnny on the spot with a linesman when I arrived. Made my hotel reservation for me - made it so easy to fly in there. I will be back certainly when visiting friends in the area I will always stop here.

So thrilled that Richmor is the new FBO at SWF! I have been a loyal customer of the POU location for almost 10 years and could not be more excited that they have a new location, even better they now have a restaurant the Galaxy Cafe. With good food and great small town atmosphere with a big theme it's a great stop for a bite to eat. Lisa Litts, who has been an integral part of Richmor's growth for as long as I know, shines with her bubbly personality and her genuinely caring hospitality. Customer/line service is unmatched with people like Marcus, Chris, Kyle and John. In the several times I have visited, they never stop smiling and make sure your stay is as enjoyable as can be! This stop is a must!
