Had to make a precautionary landing due to oil pressure. Couldn't have picked a better place to get stuck. They were very helpful at getting my plane fixed and on my way and they didn't stab me even though I was at their mercy. Great airport indeed.

Small country airport with a "training" tower manned by US Army controllers during daylight hours. ILS07 works fine, so this would be a good bad-weather stopover. FBO is no frills & quiet, but has a weather computer for flight planning, crew car and (fairly expensive) full-serve fuel. Staff was friendly & helpful. Good BBQ at "Country's BBQ" 6 miles toward town.

Quiet airport, no self-serve, tower not open during weekends - none-the-less an easy in and out to refuel during normal hours. Lineperson was quick, airport good alternative, plenty of instrument apchs.
