I landed here on 11/29/09. Unknown to me the name had changed in the last two weeks from Sanford Lee County to Raleigh Exec; AOPA still has it as Sanford Lee County, and the AWOS is reporting it still as Sanford Lee County. A bit of confusion in the pattern, for no one would indicate anything on the new name. Great, clean airport; very nice stop...... Just note the name change to RALEIGH EXEC.

Even though I'm not based here, I've had two occasions on stopovers when Dan helped get my plane back in the air with nothing more than a handshake. Clean, modern FBO coupled with Southern hospitality...What else do you need!

What a great airport.

I did my first solo XC to KTTA to meet a friend to play golf. The people were very nice and I enjoyed my short stay. Thanks for the hospitality.

Don't rent a car from Enterprise. After renting an Enterprise auto on August 3rd for one day, driving about 50 miles and refilling the gas, I was charged $88.93. This was after being told by the FBO's representative that the charge was $50/day. I called the Manager who said he would fix it but so far, nothing has happened. Enterprise was not responsive to my complaint; when you have the only game in town, I guess you can do whatever you want. I'll sure be more careful in the future.

The folks here at TTA were super to us during a recent Angel Flight. Very helpful when I experienced a major vapor lock trying to restart the aircraft. Even hooked the power cart directly to the battery, which took some doing! This is indeed a pleasant and full-service FBO. I would heartily recommend them for a stopover.

Stopped on my way from Maryland to ILM on Christmas Eve. Couldn't ask for a nicer group of people to greet you and fuel your plane. The runway is very open and inviting with no obstructions to worry about.

GREAT FBO - I recently parked my plane overnight for a few days, No parking fee, just buy a little gas. Great service, clean everything. Gated airport, just like the big high dollar FBO. Worth a stop on your next trip. Runway is long and wide, plenty of parking.

Recently visited relatives and left our 182 on the ramp for a few days. Very helpful ramp attendant fueled and tied down the plane. Returned to find the master was left on and had a dead battery. Don, the manager, helped charge the battery and get us in the air back to NY. Very nice facility and reasonable fuel.

Visited KTTA just to steal a cup of coffee and return to KJQF. People at the FBO couldn't have been friendlier and the facility looked as though it had been built yesterday. Very nice visit I will repeat.
