We landed in Knoxville after a long flight from Chicago. We had diverted due to weather and were in a hurry to beat the weather to our final destination. A couple of twins and a jet or two on the tarmac and we still got first class service. We did not realize that they had SS, so we went with FS and paid a little bit more, but, was well worth the delta. The line crew was very attentive, the counter group as focused and we were turned around in no time. All in all a nice facility with good people.

Stopped for fuel and rest on a trip from Florida to Indiana. Everything was quite busy but we got right in for fuel and a quick turn. The staff was right on top of everything and got us right out. I will be back.

Stopped for a quick fuel and ended up staying for 2 hours because of weather. They provided us with crew car for a late late dinner that we needed bad. We ended up using their self-serve. Despite all that we were treated like we came in with jets. Good job guys!!

I called ahead and then stopped at TAC Air on Dec. 2 for fuel around 1 PM local, while delivering a new 172S from the Cessna factory to a buyer in Virginia. Got great service along with a ride down the road by a pleasant employee to grab a sandwich for lunch. Didn't feel the least bit rushed and was still on the way about 45 minutes after arriving. I had previously stopped here several months back on a rainy night for a layover. Parking under their "drive through" overhang was great and they didn't charge a ramp fee for overnighting as well as hangaring the airplane. Not the cheapest gas within 75 miles, but they treat you very professionally regardless of the type equipment you are flying.

Good service. Had our rental car waiting on us. Self serve fuel was the advertised $5.35 per gallon. Easy to access and use.

Brought several pax to the Gators/Vols game. TAC Air was busy, but service was excellent. Nice facility even provided pizza to the pilots during the game.

Better fuel prices than at some less fancy facilities. Park under the awning to unload, lots of help with the bags, etc. Rental car waiting. The only problem is with the traffic on Rt. 129 next to the airport. The traffic is horrible and residents drive like madmen.

Went to TAC Air today to pick up 2 poxes. Nice facility and nice folks....... But the fine for a 20-minute stay was $175 for a Citation 1 put them about #2 behind Signature. Will try to avoid them in the future.

Visited TAC Air on 3/19 in a King Air C90A. The weather was constant rain all day, so their under cover ramp was a blessing. The good folks at TAC Air treated us VERY well. We had a minor avionics problem on the way to TYS. Jonathan at Horizon Avionics was able to take care of it on short notice and didn't even charge us for his work. I felt like I arrived as a stranger and left as a friend.

My passengers were impressed upon arrival. We were directed to park under a roofed area. The lineman waited patiently while I unloaded all the luggage and helped carry inside the lobby where the friendly girls directed us to freshly baked cookies. We were starving. Departure was on Christmas day. Their skeleton crew was great. They fueled our plane and charged SS rate, there was no tie down fee for the 3 nights we stayed. Will definitely be back.

TAC Air is the new owner of the FBO. They try harder and it shows. Big improvement over prior spotty service and a disinterested attitude. Good 100L prices now with the new SS fuel and middle of the pack for FS fuel for mid-sized airports. Head of the pack for service and convenience.

Beautiful facilities and friendly staff. They didn't know we were coming until we were on the ramp, but a lineman immediately led us to parking and we were refueled before we had unloaded our baggage. Outstanding service for a busy Saturday and a 172. We'll be back.

We stopped in KTYS on our way to Virginia to see family. I called Marla and told her that we were running late due to weather. She couldn't have been nicer. She knew who I was because I filed through fltplan.com and faxed her our info. She said that they would be waiting for us. We arrived and the line crew parked our Arrow under the canopy next to the front door. They help us with our luggage and Marla took the time to direct us to a new Ruby Tuesday right across from the airport. It was next to our hotel. She even let us borrow the crew car without my request. The bottom line here is first-rate, friendly service. Great job everyone at TAC KTYS. I'll be back!

This has to be one of the nicest FBOs I have ever been to. Friendly and attentive counter and line personnel. Fresh cookies. Ultra modern facilities. The only glitch was a missed fuel order, which was quickly corrected. First class operation all the way.

Great airport! Friendly staff had no problems with flying in a small plane but they didn't seem to be very busy at all. Very nice Ford Taurus courtesy car. Will come back to TYS.

I've been here several times and have always been treated well, despite the size (small) of my aircraft. The counter people are friendly and helpful, the fuel prices are reasonable, the facility is modern and clean, and they bake fresh cookies all day long. It can't get much better than that.

Stopped at TAC Air last week for a quick stop refuel from Austin to Boston. Parked under the canopy, the fuel truck and the GPU were waiting. I went inside, gave a credit card, went to the bathroom, and they had my ticket waiting for 150 gallons of Jet A when I returned. I walked out, started up and was off.... Total time 8 minutes!!!! Best quick turn I ever saw.

Stopped by Tac Air today for fuel. People behind the counter were nice but seems like they forget about you if you’re in a small plane. I don't expect anything crazy in the way of service, but it would be nice if I could get my plane filled up in less than an hour.

I am based a short 40 minute hop from KTYS, so the only time that I ever get into or out of this airport is when I am coming or going from someplace else. I repair computer systems for a living and work strange hours sometimes. This FBO has always accommodated me with use of their crew car, help with materials, etc, even though I rarely buy much from them (as it is so close to home, I usually leave home with full fuel and stop here), I usually ask them to top it off to be courteous, but it is almost always <10 gallons. Never the less, same friendly service, I will always recommend them and their branch in Chattanooga because of their friendly attitude and customer service. I do stop and get fuel here when I need it even though there are cheaper alternatives. Overall Grade: A+

Had to divert to KTYS on 7-29-06 due to weather at our planned stop in our Dakota and was treated like the jets on the ramp. It was raining and the covered parking area was great. Ramp and desk staff did a fantastic job and I'll be back. Thanks.
