Good fuel prices and friendly service from Fred, the airport manager. Even Buddy, the airport pooch was friendly! Runway recently resurfaced, and remarked.

I called ahead to confirm price and availability. When I arrived the manager who helped me refuel met me. As is always the case the low fuel price attracted too many users this weekend and they ran out. He informed me before I fueled and was apologetic. The new price was $3.50 and seems fair given the current market. Fred was very helpful and drove me to get something to eat. Still my preferred place to stop.

Traveling on a Sunday, I called ahead to verify availability. He said to call him if I arrive early. I did, and as promised, he came to work early. I stopped by on my return trip too.

Great fuel prices and the manager even stayed late to give me a ride to the motel.. The next morning he picked me up at the motel and took me back to plane, even though he wasn't scheduled to work that early. Great little airport!

Called ahead for fuel and the attendant said they were closing at 4:30 but would stay late to fuel me. When I arrived the attendant was there and cheerfully filled my plane. Excellent service!

Stopped there for the cheap fill up but no one was there. If you must use a credit card, there an attendee must be present. Fred showed up and took care of us, and a local John Mc.... was a gem of a guy and helped me with the long flight I was taking. I recommend the place but make sure you have a way to pay for fuel.

Quick service, as soon as I pulled up. Cuba has maintained either the best or very near the best 100LL price in the area for years now. Best place for fuel for St. Louis area pilots. Go where the locals go.

We stopped on a Friday night to fill up with gas. Unfortunately, no one was around. We called Fred and he was able to hook up with Ron to provide us service. Unfortunately after take off we had to return due to weather. After spending a night at Best Western and returning the next morning the weather was to be uncooperative. We ended up spending all morning with Fred and Rick. They drove us to breakfast and took good care of us. They showed us their hangers, the airport project and made our stay very enjoyable. We appreciate all the hospitality and cannot express how grateful we are to their friendly company. We recommend a stop in Cuba very highly.

Nice small airport, stopped there Aug 6 and on the return trip. Very nice people run it. Fuel was still 2.69 but next time fuel is bought may have to go up because of oil prices.
