This FBO provides pure VIP treatment. I visit them 2x per month in a Bonanza and they are happy to arrange rental car, fuel, or anything else you might need. Beautiful lounge with WIFI and the ramp guys are fantastic. No parking fees make you feel welcome at VNY.

I have a Beech Debonair, Pentastar always treats us great - prompt service, no overnight fee, drinks for the flight, beautiful lounge for the kids to hang out during preflight. The ramp is mostly business jets, no problem helping us little guys anytime. The only thing is that you can't park yourself - the positive is that they seem to have very well trained guys and they do a good job of moving around the planes without hurting them. When at VNY, this is the place. There's nothing better.

Excellent service at Pentastar Aviation when I arrived at Van Nuys from IL in my Saratoga. Becky got the hangar set-up and even a great deal on a ride to the hotel in a limo. I will be back!!

Stopped in there last week to pick up a passenger. Very friendly on the phone and the lineman were professional and efficient. On the return they brought the passenger's personal car out of the hangar and to the plane. Top-shelf service. Not a glitzy building, but very well decorated. My passenger and I preferred it to the big cold jet centers. Coolest FBO on the field.

In a nutshell, "WOW!" Great prices, outstanding service (especially Becky), professional and helpful line service, clean and modern facilities, and an obvious desire to be the best. Overall, this FBO is on par with the best of the best FBO's in the world. We look forward to our next visit!

I've used other FBOs at VNY and decided to try something new this trip. Taxiing up to Pentastar, it doesn't look like much from the outside. However, the facilities inside are very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. Line staff is very good and service is top notch. I will be back.

It's so nice to finally find an FBO on the field that actually LIKES small planes. I was there for four nights in an old, dirty Archer and was treated like a king. Rental car right up to the plane, no parking fees for four nights, friendly service inside. I know where I'm going next time!

Flying regularly to VNY for the past 6 months only going to Pentastar, excellent service, professional and helpful staff, always ready to help, top of the line, clean facility, Zero parking, Ramp, overnight fee, and cheapest fuel on the field, I recommend this facility to everyone from a Cessna 150 to G5 or Legacy.

My wife and I flew our C182 into VNY on Easter weekend and decided to use Pentastar due to its favorable reviews. We had called ahead to arrange a rental car (Enterprise) and it was waiting on the ramp for us as we pulled up. Usual paperwork inside and we were off. The staff is very professional and friendly. Setting things up with them on the phone and via email was fast and efficient. They were open on Easter Sunday as well making our evening departure easy. All in all a great experience. One negative though, they misfueled my aircraft. I had asked for it to be filled to the bottom of the tabs and they topped it off to the point it was overflowing when I removed the cap to inspect the fuel. Fortunately I had plenty of weight to spare.

Excellent. Excellent. And excellent. I've been flying into VNY for 15 years. I recently left Raytheon when they sold to Signature and raised the ramp fee on my 310 from $15 to $50. At Pentastar, they offer a large, clean, full service facility. Their staff is wonderful, and they charge a whopping $0 ramp fee and $0 overnight. That's right, $0. They treat the big guys like rock stars and the little guys like the big guys. Their fuel is very reasonable -- with this service, I want to buy their fuel whenever my weight allows!

I visited Pentastar during an overnight stop in an E55 Baron on January 24, 2009. Superb friendly service and the best 100LL price at VNY. This is the only place to stop at the Van Nuys Airport - no matter what you fly they look forward to your business. How refreshing is that?

Fabulous service; on our arrival, had rental car waiting on ramp right next to where they parked us. Linesman helped to unload the plane and we were on the go in 10 minutes. One of the best FBOs I've used in the country.

Pentastar provided great hospitality and help while I tried to solve a bad mag problem. Cheryl and Amanda were terrific! And no charge for parking for us little guys. Will be back!

Been here a few times now. Hard time reaching people on the Unicom never had anyone greet me on the ramp but really I can't complain. Parking is free! Very nice facility and comfortable chairs inside. This is the only place I'll park at VNY.

Flew into VNY for the July 4th weekend with my family. Lisa was extremely helpful the night before by arranging a great rental car and personally confirming it with me. On arrival, we were expected and enjoyed their nice facility and complimentary cold drinks. As a corporate King Air pilot I experience many FBOs. It's nice to know there is still a place that respects piston pilots as well. Thanks Lisa and staff for a very smooth visit.

Made initial contact about a potential flight into VNY and called Pentastar. Heather spoke with me answering most of my questions and forwarded me to Jim for the rest of the questions. At the end of the phone call we were all booked and ready to go. We arrived one hour early and they were still able to accommodate us without a hitch. We met Lisa at the front desk and she had the rental car waiting. We came back to a fueled and ready to go aircraft, even at 10:00 at night. All this for just a 182 and no ramp fee! Whether you buy fuel or not! Thanks to Jim, Lisa and the whole night crew. You are a class act!

Heather and Brittany are the best! Always ready to help. Line guys have the plane ready early with the GPU set up. Cars are always taken care of and there beside the plane when you open the door. Hats off to this operation!

I needed to leave my Seneca in the LA area for nine days while vacationing out of the country. The manager at Pentastar quoted a $100 fee for the entire time, regardless of my purchasing fuel. My rental car was at the aircraft as I shut down. The line guys loaded my bags and I was on my way inside of 5 minutes after arriving on their ramp. The faclity was very nice inside and the men's room even had complimentary individual size toiletries. The coffee and soft drinks were complimentary. Upon my return the aircraft was waiting right in front of the building where we reversed the process and were on our way. The fuel, which I did purchase, was also the lowest price at Van Nuys. This is my dream FBO.

Tried Pentastar for the first time on 2-13-08 and found their services to be great. Heather was very helpful and went out of her way to provide for whatever services were needed and the crew were very positive and professional. Just spent the weekend in the Valley and parked at Pentastar. I can't say enough about the service. They had a ramp car give a friend and I a ride to the 94th for lunch and they picked us up. Not only did they park me on the ramp for no cost but also when the Santa Ana winds started blowing (gusting up to 50mph!) Jim had my aircraft, as well as another Cessna, moved into the hangar for the night at no charge. This gave me a real peace of mind. I would recommend Pentastar to anyone coming into Van Nuys.

Flying with Coastal Helicopters we land at every airport in the California Southland. Big International airports with massive FBO's and small general aviation airports with Ma and Pops gas, I could tell you stories from awesome help to the worst service from both the big and small FBO's. But I have nothing but the best praise for Pentastar Aviation in Van Nuys!! Every time we land at Van Nuys there is a truck waiting or at least driving up. The line guys are always in a good mood, you have no idea how many times it seems like we are asking for the world just to get fuel at some other places!!! Pentastar guys always ready to get the job done. We usually land at night and the line guy named Travis always is all about the service, he seems to have the whole place under control as all the helicopters need fuel about the same time..... He works the ramp quickly and efficiently and everyone leaves happy!!!! If he isn't running the place he should be. Go Travis! Go Pentastar!!

After many years of using other FBO's at Van Nuys, Mr. Davis from Pentastar contacted me and asked me to give Pentastar Van Nuys a try. We were in need of a very fast quick turn for our Gulfstream IV and Pentastar went above and beyond. Upon our arrival the fuel truck was already standing by as well as a cart with ice, newspapers, magazines and our life rafts, which we had delivered to the FBO. We were fully loaded, fueled, and ready to depart within 15 minutes. Mr. Davis even came out himself on our early morning weekend visit to personally introduce himself and make sure that our quick turn went as smooth as possible. We will continue to use Pentastar for all of our Van Nuys operations.
