Fuel pump is up and running. Fuel at L31 is much cheaper alternative to KNEW or KMSY.

From Wilson Walters on 05-Apr-2008
The fuel pump is INOP at the moment, Air Reldan is in the process of switching fuel providers. It should be back up soon.

From Daniel Oppenheim on 21-Nov-2007
The fuel pump has been repaired and is working very well.

From Al Sinopoli on 07-Aug-2007
Pump is operative, although it is runs slow (took 20 minutes to pump in 60 gallons). It is a known issue for at least the past 3 months. Sometimes varying hand pressure on the handle can improve flow.

From Daniel Oppenheim on 16-Nov-2006
A new self-service card reader has been installed on the 100LL fuel tank so there should now be self-service fuel 24/7.

From Al Sinopoli on 07-Jul-2006
Fuel pump card reader has now been inoperative since May 2006 (funny how we "people" have told Air Reldan about it, and they are aware of it, but they haven't posted it on AirNav to alert pilots to this. Nor have they simply labeled it on the pump). One would have expected that an FBO who rents planes and instructors to be on top of their fueling conditions, and to be open about it as a matter of customer service. To fuel, there has to be someone at the FBO building, or you need to call them out. Again, I suggest calling the FBO and making arrangements prior to stopping in for fuel, since they are not always in; otherwise, you may have to await their arrival. Note that fixing this issue with the fuel pump is not anticipated in the near term, as a replacement system is supposed to be procured. Of course, that was started a month and a half ago.

I stopped in there just today. I was under the impression that they were open but they weren't, so I called Neil on his cell phone; posted on the door. He had no problem coming out there and opening their store for me. Very friendly. Thanks again Neil!!!

Made a stop to drop off someone who lived in the Covington area. Tie down space is limited as others have noted. SS fuel was operational although price wasn't posted (that I was able to find) and pump ran rather slowly making for a long fill up. Functional for my needs at the time but I can't speak to the FBO customer service or facilities since it was closed (Monday after New Years).

From Al Sinopoli on 14-Oct-2005
Pumps have been out of service since Katrina. Card reader appears inop. Ramp space nearly nil. Last checked on 11-Oct-2005. If I were you, I'd verify functionality before using this airport as a fuel stop.

Response from Air Reldan Management on 18-Oct-2005
Self Service Fuel System is working at this time. If people reported when they had a problem, it could possibly get fixed much sooner.
