I was airport hopping around the state of Arkansas and thought that I would stop in for some SS fuel as seen here on AirNav. Pulled up to the SS and found that it did not work...Out of order...With no sign and no one to be found. I had to fly a neighboring airport to fuel up and they told me that it has not worked for about a month. It would be a good ideal to call if you're thinking about it for a fuel stop.

Stopped in a few months ago for a fuel stop and mentioned to one of the gentlemen that I was hungry and did not have time to stop for lunch. He promptly brought me some packages of peanut butter crackers and a bottle of water for my 3-hour trip home. Thanks guys, I'll be back through.

Stopped in a few months ago so this is a little late but just wanted to say that it was a pleasant stop. It was mid afternoon around lunch and I needed to be on my way but said something to one of the guys about being hungry. He got me two packages of peanut butter crackers and some water for my 3hr flight home. Good hometown hospitality. Thanks guys I'll be back through soon.

Our self-serve gas pump is fully operational now. Jet A is also available during regular business hours or after hours with prior notice. Our facility was destroyed by a tornado on Apr 2, 2006, but we have overcome most of the obstacles that presented themselves. Working out of hangar and temporary modular office space. There is one structure to the west of the ramp that still needs to be demolished and removed but it is not part of the FBO. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Quick stop to find a nice runway beside a pretty golf course. Good windsock too. Once you turn off onto the ramp, things change quickly. Pilot lounge?? Building looked vandalized completely. Was on my way quickly. I'd rate it a 4.

The infrastructure is pretty much destroyed for the time being. No FBO, no hangar, nothing. F3 tornado on April 2nd took out everything. Self serve pump is still there, and I saw a Jet A truck, but I would call ahead to see if they still have fuel available.

Awhile back, I stopped at Caruthersville to top off my twin. A new gas price had just been posted on AirNav. While refueling the attendant indicated the price was $1 higher than the post. Jerrie got involved and determined they had inadvertently made an error in their posting with AirNav. He offered to honor the posted price, which was probably below his cost. That was very nice of him. Reporting this experience is my way of saying thanks.
