Flew from JAN to M11 for morning flying in the Jackson, MS area. The weather was a little BR, otherwise prefect. Enjoyed the COMMing with JAN departure and arrival. M11 lobby and FSBO services were not open due to my early arrival. I was very impressed with the landscaping in the front area of the building and I noticed new hangars to the right of the main building. There are trees that run along the runway on the east side. Tie down area had no string/ropes. I plan to fly into Copiah often.

Very late night arrival. Runway and lighting in good condition. There is a notable downward grade on runway 35. When landing at night the end of the runway momentarily disappears until clearing the top of the grade and then the rest appears. No problem but good to know. The facilities are all in good working order. No problems getting in or out. Couldn't tell anything about the terminal nor surrounding area. PAPI helpful. Fuel price very good.
