The card reader has been replaced and a new control head for the fueling system is in the works. The City's brush burning has been addressed and will likely not happen again. Ramp paving between the hangars has just been completed and runway repairs are have been evaluated and funding is imminent.

Halls airport is a dump, litterly. The runway and taxiway is coming apart (WWII concrete). Gas is cheap if you can get the pump to work. I had to swipe 3 different cards at least 50 times before it would read the card. No FBO and no one around. If you land here be sure you have fuel to get somewhere else cause the pump may not read your credit card.

$80.00 per month is not bad hangar rent.... If you like your plane stored in an open hangar next to a field where the Town of Halls burns the trash they pick-up off the streets. Why is this important??? It seems every time the city burns, the winds are blowing in the direction of the hangers... And guess what!!! Your expensive airplane is covered with the soot from the burning debris.

Airport has two available hangars, cost is $80 monthly, runway repairs are under consideration and should be funded by May 2008, and ramp repairs have been funded and should be completed by mid April 2008. Fuel still available at $3.95.

Airport very quiet, new open T hangars approx 57% filled, 100LL is still a good deal at $3.95... Fuel hose reel broken... Runway has several bumps... Airport Director talking about reopening another runway...And paving by hangar area should be completed by end of March... Airport really needs runway paving, lights, IP....

Self Service fuel available continuously. Airport is checked several times during the day, but irregularly attended. Fuel system routinely checked. Sometimes receipts curl up on the ends and stick in the chute. We save them when that happens. Ag Operations can be considerable at times.

Easy in and out. Self service was very easy to use. Talked to the airport manager and was told the price was going up but that is the case everywhere. Very quiet airport except for Ag Flying. Sometime back I thought they had went out of business but I was wrong. They are still there only better. Also, there is a World War Two Aviation Museum on the field. Call city hall at 731-836-9653 for details. It is worth your time.
