Stopped 10/22/2009 for two nights. Bad wx was coming and they put my plane in a hangar for the night. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice FBO office. Big black dogs were friendly. Enterprise car rental was flakey as usual; gas tank not filled, closed on weekends, but the car was there and they said they would not charge for Sunday (we'll see, we left on Saturday). The runway is in good shape and not an issue with good approaches and runway lights on all night, but the airport is located in a divot on the north side of the Nashville Class C 5-mile ring so a moving map GPS is very helpful to keep you out of the Class C area.

We flew in to Colemill and Wow! The line guy was nice and professional, facility was great, super cute little airport and the 100LL was $3.55. Fantastic fuel stop I'll be back.

I spent the weekend in Nashville at the Opryland resort, which is about 10 minutes by highway and 2 miles by air, from M88. The line person was extremely friendly and helpful, fueled up the plane and tied it down for us. This airport is a little difficult to find coming in as trees and homes surround it. The runway is in great shape and the FBO has a computer and lounge that you would normally expect at a much larger field. Fuel was inexpensive and the ramp fee was $5 per night. The field is secured every night with a large fence and locked gate. I will definitely return next time I am in Nashville!

I fly into M88 on a regular basis. Service has always been tremendous. When I arrive, my rental car is brought to me plane side with the trunk open. I will always use M88 when I visit Nashville.

Beautiful little airport in a residential area close to BNA. Easy to get into and out of, even IFR. When there were severe TSs and tornado warnings last week my 210 was put in a hangar until the next day, no charge. Good service. Get them to call Checker Cab for you when you reach the airport frequency from 10 minutes out. Most drivers don't know how to find this place.

Christmas day - upon departure we found our airplane covered with 1/2" patches of ice. FBO normally closed Christmas, but an employee was in the office - he put our airplane in a heated hangar to thaw out! I offered to pay for the service - they said no charge! Fuel was 3.40/gallon, $5 overnight ($10 overnight w/o fuel purchase) We will be back!

Stayed at Opryland and this airport is very convenient. Staff was very capable and friendly. I plan to return on my next trip.

Flew into Cornelia Fort Airpark AUG 08. Grounds keepers mowed around my experimental aircraft, completely covering it with dirt, grass, and debris. No other aircraft on the line were mowed by. Day I left; manager's black full-size poodle attacked me, leaving four puncture marks in my left buttock. I will not be going back.

Just visited last week. 100LL is up to $5.15. Parking is $10 per night w/o fuel $5 per night w/ fuel. Friendly help on the line and the front desk. A great alternative to BNA and JWN. I'd go back!

The Colemill folks do a fine job, hospitable and professional. I, too, had problems with Enterprise so be sure to call and confirm the day of arrival. Mind the narrow runway, especially at night, as there's no VASI.

Colemill is a fantastic FBO. When Enterprise screwed up and didn't deliver our rental car, Thomas helped us find another car rental and then loaned us the company van so we could go get the car. A very clean very nice facility. We'll be back and recommend it to all. Enterprise closes at noon on Saturdays and it's impossible to get any assistance from their national numbers. We found, and recommend, Tennessee Car and Van Rental. Their rates are reasonable, they're open 8-6 7 days a week and they'll pick up and drop off.

I agree with the comments below. Well run airport, with no overnight fees and reasonable fuel. Very close to BNA, which creates some interesting traffic issues. Runway a bit narrow compared to most. Biggest detriment is trying to navigate to and from the airport on the ground, since it's located in a residential area. Hard to beat for proximity to Opryland Hotel. Enterprise had already delivered my rental to the airport.

Good stop for services or visiting Gaylord Opryland. Located in residential area. Enterprise car rental will deliver to airport.
