I believe that I know Herb Bishop from the Reno QB Hangar and intend to stop at Nervino in the Spring of 08. Fly safe out there,

Last weekend I goofed and left my master switch on, parked overnight at Nervino Airport. While I was wandering around the airport looking for a payphone, Herb Bishop (the airport manager) and his wife arrived. Not only did they help me out with a phone, they spent more than an hour of their time getting my battery charged and alternator working to get me safely on my way home. That was my first trip in to Nervino, and I will definitely be back. Herb Bishop (and his Nervino Aero Service) exemplifies the best in the aviation community!

I took my F33A Bonanza in for service twice so far at Nervino Aero and found the service competent and careful. I had the #2 cylinder replaced, the tach replaced, and the baffles replaced among a bunch of other minor MX items. All work was excellent as evidenced by improved engine operation and much better control of the CHT's. Herb and Kevin also managed to find an incorrectly installed probe, which had eluded previous attempts at diagnosis. I'm taking the airplane there for its upcoming annual.
