Diverted to refuel because of weather. It was a great find. Super friendly husband and wife team runs the place. Clean restrooms and great service. Fueling was full service. They have a shop for shirts, aircraft hardware, filters, and oil by the case, etc. My sister liked the Indian jewelry. They gave me a couple fresh pears from their tree before I left.

I was looking for an airport with a nice runway in southern AZ to by fuel. I landed here. I was trying to beat some weather so the FBO opened the fuel pumps an hour early to accommodate me. The people at this airport are so so friendly and their fuel smells nice too! Beautiful runway but only the northeast section of the taxiway parallel to 3/21 is paved so back taxiing may be necessary if you land at the end of the runway to the southwest. No issue if you only use the first 3000ft of the runway, which is in excellent condition. I will be stopping there a lot during my southwest flights.

Great service! and they sell souvenirs! I showed up at 730am (they open at 8) but the lady heard me come in and helped me fuel up before she even opened up. Very nice of her, I only wish I could have bought more fuel... But a Colt only holds so much!

Lost my alternator and diverted to p33. Was met by Jim Walden on Saturday afternoon. He worked till late that night and early Sunday morning to diagnose and fix the problem. Got a car to the hotel sat night. Jim is an ace mechanic. What an asset he is to his aviation community.
