Good place to stop and get inexpensive fuel. Fast pump. No AWOS. Need to check winds by looking at windsock or calling someone on the ground. I have been there 2 times this summer for x-country fuel stop. Heavy parachute jumping in the area usually west of the airport so monitor radio early. You can time landing between jumps. Worth flying here than going to Sedona. It is a walk to the bathroom.

Bob and Angie are the best. They go out of their way to be helpful. Bob is an excellent A and P. His annuals are fair priced and very professional. I recommend Aerobear. Long time client.

What a great alternative to the (pricier) Sedona Airport. Avgas is $0.55/gallon cheaper in Cottonwood than at Sedona. No tiedown fees for the weekend. My wife and I stopped in for 3 days, and the folks at Aerobear were very friendly and helpful. Enterprise's office is about a mile away. We will definitely stop here again when we're in the area.

Thanks to the fine folks at Aerobear a courtesy car was made available and our Pilot Group was able to enjoy fine dining up the hill in Jerome last evening. Down-home service like Aerobear provides is what GA is all about. Thanks Bob!
