We had a good experience at Coastal. The line folks and the manager where super helpful and very polite. On top of that, they loaned us a courtesy car for two days--unbelievable! Thanks again guys! The FBO "building" is VERY basic (a trailer-like) structure) and the parking ramp has a lot of helicopter action on one end. Their pricing is the best around though they add a 0.195/gal flow fee to the price so the Jet-A price of $3.80 is more like $4.00 out the door. If not for that that pricing "inaccuracy, " I would give them a solid 'A' rating. If you can handle the basic facilities, I recommend Coastal when you visit Juneau.

Very friendly and helpful. Fuel truck met our plane and the driver mentioned courtesy car. We didn't need one at that point, but asked if we could use it the next day for a few hours, prior to departure. They had the car waiting by the plane and when we returned from Mendenhall Glacier, provided us with desk space and an Ethernet connection to their system so we could do some weather, flight, and travel planning.

Arrive at Coastal Fuel and was personally parked by the owner. Pour planning on our part had us arrive without reservations for hotel or car. Jim had his staff call every hotel, B&B and rental car agency in town. Everything was sold out. Jim worked his magic and called in a few favors got us transportation and great rooms. Thanks Jim

Jim greeted us, parked us on the ramp in an out-of-the-way area, had one of his line guys get a courtesy van for us and bring it out to the airplane. He sent us off in the van & told us to spend some money in town to help out the local economy & not get his van put in jail. Great hospitality.
