Flew in for "Soup on Saturdays". Charming airport, extremely helpful and nice people at the airport. Quaint, quiet, small-town airport. Free hot soup!

Visited for competitively priced gas and good seafood. Called ahead on UNICOM for free transport into town (Captain's Galley). By the time we refueled the transportation was there. Excellent seafood and friendly service. Try it, you'll like it.

Day trip out of LFI, toured the Eastern Shore/DelMarVa peninsula, and visited Crisfield for lunch. Nice small airport: paved runway in excellent condition, turf runway looked very good too, tie-down parking on pavement for maybe 10 aircraft, probably more on the grass. Very friendly and helpful lady in the FBO told us of eateries in town willing to pick us up (Street Side Restaurant and Captains Galley) - she called, they were there promptly. Enjoyed a lunch of the freshest seafood I've had in a long time (and we live on the Chesapeake Bay in Hampton Roads) after which they returned us to the airport equally promptly. The visit reflects the attitudes expressed - they welcome fly-in visitors.

Flew in yesterday with several other planes. The attendant was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We all agreed we would fly in there again.
