Round Lake Airport & Seaplane Base

Airport Information

NOTICE: Pilots are advised to avoid the Temporary Restricted Airspace 11 nautical miles northwest of Round Lake Airport until Expiration of Notam FDC 1/1980 scheduled for 11/7/01. Pilots departing Runway 32 should turn right to the northeast upon reaching 500' AGL. Pilots arriving Runway 14 should turn base leg over Round Lake.

Round Lake Airport has a 2000' turf runway, narrow at 60' but with clear approaches. Runway has 3% grade downward toward Lake. Exercise caution, Runway is soft when wet, land at your own risk. Closed to transients November through May. Check FAA Facility directory or AOPA's Airport Directory for phone number, call for current runway conditions. Location is convenient to New York's Capital District and Saratoga Springs.
