Wireless Internet Access
This symbol indicates that wireless internet access is available. Customers with a notebook or handheld computer equipped with wireless networking capability (typically 802.11b, 802.11g or 802.11n standards) can access the internet using the wireless access point on premises.
What is that funky symbol anyway? The symbol that looks like two opposing parentheses started to be used by wireless networking aficionados to indicate nearby wireless access points. It started a practice known as warchalking of marking wireless access points with a series of symbols. For more information, see the Warchalking Wikipedia entry.
