Here’s How it Works

1. Once you sign up to participate in the AirBoss Program

• AirNav will display both your regular retail and your discounted AirBoss prices on its web site. AirBoss prices will be visible to AirBoss members only. Click here to see samples screen shots.

2. You can change your retail price and/or your AirBoss price to any amount you want, any time you want, just like you already do on AirNav.com. The AirBoss price can be displayed as:

• A constant number of cents below your regular retail price

• A constant % below your regular retail prices

• A completely independent price that changes whenever you want

3. When an AirBoss member pilot purchases fuel at your FBO, you are paid directly for the purchase, just like any normal transaction. There's no middleman in the transaction.

4. If a pilot doesn’t have an AirBoss card, but wants to purchase fuel at the discounted price, you can sell a card on the spot. You do not need to pre-buy a card inventory; just collect the payment and the information on the registration form.

• Annual price is $39 per card. A card can be used by the cardholder when purchasing fuel for any aircraft.

• You collect the membership fee, and remit a portion of it AirNav. AirNav will bill you for these sales.

5. If you sell an AirBoss card to a pilot

• The pilot can fill out the registration form online while waiting to get fueled up

• The pilot can print out a temporary card for immediate use at other FBOs

• We’ll send the pilot a permanent AirBoss card within a couple of weeks

6. If you don't want to sell the card, but you want to offer AirBoss pricing, just direct a non-member to our site, and he/she can sign up directly on www.airnav.com/airboss. In this case you will not be involved in the financial transactionn at all: you do not collect the payment from the pilot, nor will you be billed by us for the pilot's membership.

7. Any FBO can participate, no FBO too small.

• Be an FBO selling aviation fuel to the public in the United States, with full-service or attendant service (at this time we are not supporting AirBoss discounts at self-service stations).

• Have any level of paid listing on AirNav. If you don’t already have a listing, you can subscribe to one during the enrollment process.
